The red flags are flying!
It’s a given that not everyone is a “Disney adult” as it were, and even many who enjoy the company’s theme parks might have some wild misconceptions about them. However, some red flags are way more striking than others.
food IS a theme park
The red flags are flying!
It’s a given that not everyone is a “Disney adult” as it were, and even many who enjoy the company’s theme parks might have some wild misconceptions about them. However, some red flags are way more striking than others.
We’re Disney Food Blog, of course, we know when new treats and snacks show up in the Disney World parks.
Disney is well known for their food; it’s practically become another attraction! They update menus and add new items and restaurants all the time. We’re ready to try it all when we find out something is new. That’s why we recently headed over to EPCOT to the France pavilion because we found out that new desserts were added to the menu at Crêpes A Emporter!
Who’s ready for some shenanigans!
I’m taking you back to the tiny train town in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT for another update! If you’ve been following along for the past few months, you know that this miniature village is filled to the brim with crime and teeming with hooligans. So let’s see what those little monsters were getting up to this week!
Dear Disney…we have something to say.
It’s not every day that we feel the need to write to you, but you’ve done something that has us pretty sad, and we can’t NOT bring it to your attention. Now, this isn’t the first time this type of thing has happened (we will forever remember the Wendell’s Bear Claw that is no more). We’ve seen some great menu items get taken away before. We get it; you have to change up your menus occasionally to keep things fresh, but there’s one food item that we thought was non-negotiable, and yet, here we are, having this conversation (which we did NOT want to have).
We’re BIG fans of all things Disney snacks, which is why we’re called Disney FOOD Blog!
However, not all snacks are built the same. We certainly have our fair share of snacks that we’re NOT fans of, the snacks that we love that other people don’t (and vice versa), but there are a few snacks out there that are practically perfect according to just about everybody.
Ah, EPCOT. Home to an entire World Showcase full of great food, drinks, and Cast Members from all over the world. It’s one of our favorite parts of the park! But let’s be real. Everyone already knows about the hot spots in EPCOT. We’re talking places like La Cava del Tequila, Rose & Crown, and Via Napoli. We don’t need to tell you about the margaritas at the Mexico Pavilion. Judging by the lines we see every day, everyone seems to know that Mexico is the place to be.
But there are actually other places to get a drink in EPCOT outside of the World Showcase. For example, you can stop by the Space 220 Lounge for some out-of-this-world drinks (we apologize for the pun). In fact, even EPCOT’s quick-service restaurant, Connections Eatery, serves cocktails, but how does the NEW option compare to our old favorites?
It’s been another week in Disney World, and yes, we continue to eat our way through the entire resort (#sorrynotsorry).
We even recently came up with a super cheap snack hack. We also got all the details about the NEW snacks arriving in Disney World AND Disneyland in June. We even got more details about the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic (Disney World’s OTHER Food and Wine festival). However, we also saw some menus change at Disney World restauarants this week.
We have exciting news for Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Members!
Over in EPCOT, the DVC Lounge is typically located high up in the Imagination Pavilion. However, from now to July 13th, 2024, this area will be closed due to a planned refurbishment. But don’t worry, the lounge is still active — it’s just moved for now!
June brings hotter temperatures to the Disney parks, but thanks to the celebration of Pride Month, we also have tons of new snacks and experiences to check out!
If you’re visiting the parks this June and love collecting different PhotoPass shots, don’t forget to grab these limited-time Magic Shots all around the parks!
For the second week in a row, Walt Disney World wait times across the resort mostly trended downward over the past 7 days.
Even eternally busy attractions like Avatar: Flight of Passage and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure saw slight decreases this week, which is interesting. However, one water ride saw a MASSIVE leap, which is a big hint that summer and its temperatures are almost here.
