Now, we’re bringing you an update on everything NEW in Disney World’s flagship park. Let’s take a look at all the updates in construction, and merchandise!
Although some things at Disney World that once were free aren’t free anymore, you can still score a few freebies here and there around the resort.
Uptown Jewelers
For example, you can still get free water at some food locations, free transportation around the resort, and free Wi-Fi. And now, for a limited time, you can also get something else free at Disney World — just in time for the holidays!
The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed for a LONG time as the construction of the new TRON attraction continues in Magic Kingdom.

A lot can change in 50 years! With Disney World celebrating its 50th anniversary, we’ve been feeling nostalgic and looking back at old times, and we’re constantly surprised by just how MUCH is different in the Most Magical Place on Earth these days!

From Florida humidity that makes you feel like you’re walking around in a sauna all day, to hurricanes, to torrential downpours, and more, we’ve really seen it all. But, today we arrived at the parks to some weather that we don’t normally encounter in Florida!
If you’re planning on visiting Disney World soon, odds are you’ll use some form of technology while there.

Maybe you’ll use your phone to make Genie+ and Individual Attraction Selection passes. Maybe you’ll use a mobile device to place a mobile order. Or maybe you’ll use your MagicBand (and the technology built into that) to scan yourself into the parks and pay for items during your stay. Well, today some of Disney’s various forms of technologies seem to be experiencing issues, and it’s a very good reminder of what you need to be prepared for in the future.
