We’ve been making our way through the parks and resorts trying all kinds of sweet and savory options. But, now it’s time for us to stop into Magic Kingdom for a new drink with a name inspired by one of the park’s most classic attractions — The Haunted Mansion!

And we’re busy checking out all the food, entertainment, character outfits, and more! But what’s more iconic than Disney World balloons? YES! Even the famous Disney balloons have become part of the big celebration.
What a food-filled day this has been at Magic Kingdom! We’ve been trying brand-new food and drink items in celebration of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, including treats from Aloha Isle, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe, and Columbia Harbour House!

Our next stop is Westward Ho Refreshments in Frontierland where we ordered a rather unassuming snack (especially compared to some of those extravagant cupcakes we’ve tried today).

There are over 150 treats coming to Disney World for the 50th anniversary including a sundae with an ENTIRE Mickey pretzel on top and treats featuring edible gold. Disney World is abuzz today as the 18-month anniversary celebrations kick off in all four parks. We’ve seen new entertainment, crowds, and (you know it) new EATS. We’ve also found that each of the parks has its own little change that helps to bring the birthday magic — a new park map!

And while there are lots of new snacks that are quite unique, sometimes there’s nothing wrong with getting a classic snack that has a bit of a 50th Anniversary twist. That’s just what we found over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort!

As Disney World rolls out 150+ food and drink items over the next 18 months, from popcorn buckets and sippers to snacks and treats, we’re eating our way through the 50th anniversary. Today we tried a new space-themed food and it wasn’t at Space 220, so let’s dig in!

There is SO much going on right now. There are 50th anniversary decorations up everywhere, we’ve seen the golden character statues in all four parks, we’ve thrown money at a ton of new 50th merchandise, and we trying out ALL the 50th anniversary foods we can because that’s what we do!
