There are some things in Disney World that the average guest won’t ever see!
From fireworks shows to general maintenance, it takes a lot of work to keep the parks magical for guests. And that involves several things that only happen once the parks are already closed for the day! Let’s peek behind the closed gates and see what happens late each night in Disney World.
It’s been a busy week at Disney World!
We’re seeing signs that things are returning to normal at Disney World, including the reopenings and potential reopenings of some of our favorite restaurants and snack spots! And we’ve got new menus for a few locations, too, as well as a brand new margarita! So let’s get on with the updates!
If you are thinking about visiting Disney World for the 50th anniversary, you’ve probably started making plans.
Plans for a 2021 Disney World visit typically include park passes, hotel reservations, and theme park tickets. But with the 50th Anniversary being a BIG event, you’ll want to get started on that trip planning very early. So, recently we took a look at Disney World resort hotel availabilities and pricing for the 50th anniversary, right around October 1st, 2021. What does hotel availability look like right now? What spots are already booked up and what’s still available (if anything)? We’re breaking it all down for you here!
Even though Disney World welcomed back guests last July, several restaurants still have yet to reopen.
That includes fan-favorite Magic Kingdom spot Casey’s Corner, known for its famous hot dog creations. We’ve recently seen several signs that Casey’s Corner could be preparing to reopen soon, including updates to the menu online and the return of tables and chairs inside the restaurant.
At Disney World there’s usually something to do for everyone, whether you’re into thrill rides, calm rides, watching a show, or eating every snack.
Disney World offers quite a few rides with no height requirements, meaning people of all heights and ages (even babies!) can visit these attractions. If you ever wanted an extensive list of every no height limit attraction at Disney, we’ve got you covered.
We’re starting to see things return to pre-closure normal at Disney World, and well, some of those things are making us pretty emotional!
First, ride pre-shows have returned (we might have shed a tear seeing the Haunted Mansion stretching room come to life again), interactive queue elements are now available to guests waiting in line for some rides, and fireworks will once more light up the skies above Disney World on July 1st!
Every Disney fan has heard their share of urban legends and spooky stories about Disney World.
In fact, some of us have even imagined our own stories about a few creepy things we’ve seen in the parks, like the former creepy clown slide at the pool at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, or the gigantic evil-grinning Jack-in-the-Box at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. But nothing matches the tales that guests and Cast Members continue to share that revolve around Magic Kingdom.
