Disney World is constantly changing!
Sometimes we see those changes coming and sometimes we don’t. Last month, a few things definitely caught us off guard. Here are the three most unexpected things that happened in Disney World in March!
In the last year, we’ve seen a lot of “sprucing up” going on around the Walt Disney World parks, but especially in Magic Kingdom!
Cinderella Castle got a new paint job and now she’s getting additional decorations for the 50th Anniversary. We also noticed repainting happening at the parking entrance for the TTC and several classic attractions are getting golden touch-ups. Today, we spotted another place in the park where there’s some painting going on, and we took some photos to share with you!
If you want to snag these Disney discounts, you’ll have to act FAST!
We’re constantly on the lookout for great Disney deals. From merchandise to tickets, to hotel stays, we’ll take the savings wherever we can get ’em! If you want to snag these three discounts, you’ll have to hurry before they expire!
Don’t get us wrong — we LOVE Disney World. We’re there every day, and we still get a little teary-eyed when we walk down Main Street, U.S.A. and see Cinderella Castle. Disney World IS our happy place!
But at the same time, there have been some things that Disney World has done that left us scratching our heads and asking, “What gives, Disney?” We’ve seen some pretty ridiculous things happen at the parks over the years, and some were so outrageous that we’ve totally forgotten about them!
Earlier this year, Disney announced that it would be making some changes to Disney World and Disneyland’s classic ride — the Jungle Cruise.
As part of the refurbishments/retheme, the rides will get a new storyline, a skipper animatronic will be featured IN the ride itself, and more changes will be made. And, today we found that one of this ride’s signature characters was totally GONE!
In accordance with health and safety regulations, Disney World is currently operating at a limited capacity.
Although some resorts, restaurants, and attractions are scheduled to reopen soon, many remain closed. Other rides are temporarily unavailable for planned refurbishments. We’ve been keeping a close eye on all of these closures and updating you regularly. Now, we’re bringing you all the hotels and attractions that will be closed in Disney World in April 2021!
Spending a holiday in Disney World can be really exciting. From Halloween to Thanksgiving, and even the green treats of St. Patrick’s Day, it’s that extra Disney magic that really makes holiday memories more special.
Now it’s time for another holiday in the parks, and we’ve been hopping around Magic Kingdom for Easter! Now we’re checking out the crowd levels in the park while it’s at capacity.
Hello, DFB friends! March was a very busy month for Disney World restaurants!
And although we’re busy just trying to eat our way through all of Disney’s amazing Easter snacks, we’ve also been keeping an eye on what Disney World restaurants are doing, and tracking changes on menus, prices, and more! And we saw a LOT of updates in March, so let’s get started!
Does it seem like there are tons of construction projects going on in Disney World right now?
Well, that’s because there are! We’re here to fill you in with updates on the ongoing projects throughout the parks and resorts.
Most of us who go to Disney World know about the free buttons you can get for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, first visits, and more!
Yep — the buttons ARE free in their most basic form, and they’re a super fun way to add some more magic to your day. For example, wearing your Birthday button = a LOT of birthday wishes from Cast Members…and sometimes even a free dessert (albeit a tiny one).
Well today we’ve got a DFB tip to plus up your button that a LOT of people don’t know about! But the question is…is it worth it?
