Disney Parks around the world have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Several parks closed and reopened including Disney World, Disneyland Resort in California, Disneyland Paris, and even Hong Kong Disneyland. Shanghai Disney Resort had to close in March, and we’ve seen more and more of the resort slowly reopen. We recently got an update that more of the resort would be reopening soon — and now, we know exactly when that will be!

We’ve seen Disneyland Paris close and later reopen, and Hong Kong Disneyland went through a similar closing and reopening process. Back in March, Shanghai Disney Resort closed due to COVID-19, and now we have an update.

Some parks have closed and reopened, while others have closed, reopened, and closed again. Now, one Disney Park is closing its doors completely to guests as of tomorrow due to the situation with COVID-19.

We got an opening timeline for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT, there’s an updated stage show coming to Magic Kingdom, we saw new concept art for the Disney Vacation Club tower being added to Disneyland Hotel, and we know when Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris will open! UPDATE: Shanghai Disney will remain closed on November 1st-2nd — guests will be notified when Disney has confirmed a date to resume operations.
In Florida, Disney World has been slowly returning to “normal” with modified character meet and greets and an optional outdoor mask policy. Importantly, though, safety is at the heart of all of Disney’s decisions, which is why Disney suspended entry into one of its theme parks on Halloween.
