Food friends, it’s time to take a look at one of Tokyo DisneySeas’s most popular (and Instagram-able) snacks: the Chandu Tail!
Dining in TOKYO Disneyland: Pre-Packaged Souvenir Snacks
One of my very favorite things about my visit to the Tokyo Disney Resort was browsing the shops there. The packaged souvenir snacks were aplenty; shelves, shelves and more shelves filled with unique treats. I was totally obsessed with the adorable packaging. Another plus? There were plastic displays showing you exactly what was inside of that adorable packaging.
Even with the plastic displays though, I still had no idea what some of the things were! Below is a photo tour of some of the items I found adorable and interesting, and a few that were just plain bizarre.
Dining in Tokyo Disneyland: Park Snacks, Plus a Few Meals, Too!
There are so many unique eats at the Tokyo Disney Resort. In this post, I’ve complied most of the items my family tried on our recent trip. Rather than do individual posts on each thing, here’s a mega post featuring them all! Ready, let’s go to Tokyo!
Dining in TOKYO Disneyland: Little Green Dumplings
I’ve seen them on Twitter for a few years now. Alien Dumplings, LGM Mochi, Little Green Men Dumplings, Toy Story Alien Mochi… Whatever you want to call them, they’ve been on my Disney “must try” bucket list since I first laid eyes on them.
I ‘m here to report that I’ve crossed them off of my bucket list AND I’ve finally learned their “official” name: Little Green Dumplings!
Little Green Dumplings are obviously a tribute to Toy Story’s Little Green Men. They’re quite possibly the cutest edible thing I’ve ever had. Little Green Dumplings can be found at both Tokyo Disney Sea and Tokyo Disneyland.
I feasted on mine from the Soft Landing snack stand in Tomorrowland at Tokyo Disneyland. It’s a small ice cream stop upstairs near Star Tours. We used the [Read more…]
Dining in TOKYO Disneyland: The Chandu Tiger Tail
One of the most adorable stars of Tokyo Disney Sea is this cute little tiger named Chandu.
He plays Sinbad’s sidekick in Sinbad’s Storybook Voyage, which I fell in love with upon taking my first ride through.
Dining in Tokyo Disneyland: The Many Faces of Popcorn at Tokyo Disney Resort
I’ve always known that the Tokyo Disney Resort had multiple popcorn flavors, but I really had no idea how serious the popcorn game there was until I saw it for myself. It’s really like its own micro-culture.
People bring their collectable & rare resort buckets from the past and have them refilled, some people wear more than one popcorn bucket at a time, and we even had people offering us samples right out of their buckets. It’s seriously SO MUCH FUN!
Popcorn is so popular, there’s even popcorn themed merchandise that lists some of the many flavors available. Look at this fun zipper pouch I bought: Delicious Explosion Popcorn!
Another fun popcorn fact? Tokyo Disney has Roastie Toasties just like Disneyland here in Anaheim. Not all of the stands have them, but several do. To see more about Roastie Toasties & Disney Popcorn in the states, check out this great Popcorn Gallery post AJ did a while back. There’s also a fun little video on the Disney Parks Blog here.
We made it a goal on our recent trip to Tokyo to try as many types of popcorn that we could. Although we missed a few, we did a pretty good job in our 4 days at the parks. Now, on to the flavors!
Let’s start with one that I was a little unsure about but it ended up being my absolute favorite. So much so that we had it twice on our trip! Soy Sauce and Butter. It’s salty, savory and delicious. We found this cart at Tokyo Disneyland park.
You can see that this cart has its own little roastie toastie Christmas Clown; I love that he is dressed for the season. Also, please note that there are [Read more…]

This is one of the many Disney-branded vending machines selling an assortment of soda, tea, and juice drinks.
Numerous popcorn carts dot the landscape of both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. This particular cart, found outside the Winnie the Pooh themed attraction, sells popcorn flavored with honey and matching popcorn buckets.
