Disney’s international parks outside of the U.S. are known for incredible creativity. They are all beautiful and unique in their own way, with Disneyland Paris’ stunning castle (with a full-sized dragon hiding underneath!) as well as Shanghai’s MASSIVE castle!

NEWS: Health and Safety Measures Revealed for the Reopening of Tokyo Disneyland

A reopening date has been announced for Tokyo Disney Resort! Both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will begin a phased reopening on July 1st.

The announcement for the reopening of Tokyo Disneyland followed the news that Disneyland Paris will welcome guests once again starting July 15th. And, as is the case with Disneyland Paris, we also have information about health protocols that will be implemented when Tokyo Disney Resort reopens in order to promote the safety of guests and cast members. NEWS: Tokyo Disneyland Announces Continuation of Temporary Park Closure

The website for Tokyo Disney Resort has been updated to notify guests that Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will continue to remain temporarily closed.

Proposed New Safety Measures For Tokyo Disneyland May Include No Screaming On Rides.

Now that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has lifted Japan’s nationwide state of emergency, several businesses including Japanese theme parks are making reopening preparations.

Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea have been closed since February and while they haven’t announced an official reopening date yet, Tokyo Disney Resort’s shopping district (the equivalent to Disney World’s Disney Springs) has announced they’ll be reopening June 1st.

NEWS: Tokyo Disney Resort’s Shopping District to Resume Business June 1st

Just yesterday, it was announced that the Japanese government would be lifting the state of emergency for Tokyo.

In response, it appears that some businesses and destinations are already beginning to reopen. Ikspiari, the shopping and dining district at Tokyo Disney Resort, just announced that it will be reopening on June 1st.
