If an effort to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus to their Cast Members and guests, Disney has been taking several precautions, including shutting down parks if need be, like with the Tokyo Disney Resort.

While we saw the Shanghai Disneyland Resort beginning to reopen this week after its own closure, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will be extending their closure.
Due to growing concern over the coronavirus outbreak, Tokyo Disney Resort will be closing its doors this weekend.

According to The New York Times, the Japanese theme parks Disneyland and Disney Sea are expected to remain closed until March 15th. [EDITOR’S UPDATE: Please note that, as of April 8, after additional extensions to the closure it has been announced that a new reopening date will be determined in mid-May.]
There are few things better in life than spending quality time with your special someone at the Disney parks. You know — that spouse, partner, or friend where you guys finish each other’s…sandwiches? 😉

If you didn’t know, Toyko Disneyland is currently planning for a slate of new experiences (like the Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast attraction) to open in the spring of 2020. Today, Disney announced the opening date for these additions to the park!
It goes without saying that the Walt Disney Company is one of the most widely recognized corporations on the planet, and the Company’s theme parks are cornerstones of the entertainment giant’s brand.
