After months of closures and shifted reopening dates, we’ve finally got a solid date of return for one of Disney World’s most beloved value resorts!
To date, only Disney’s Pop Century resort has reopened in Disney World’s value resort tier after months of closure due to the impact of COVID-19 on Disney’s parks and resorts. While we do have a November 1st reopening date for the mostly-family-suites Art of Animation Resort, we didn’t have any details about the All-Star Resorts on property.
Select Walt Disney World hotels began reopening to guests on June 22nd, ahead of the Resort’s theme parks which officially began reopening to guests in July, with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom reopening on July 11th followed by EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopening on July 15th.
Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel still have Disney’s Magical Express available as a complimentary transportation option to and from the Orlando International Airport even during this initial reopening phase.
