But we bet you didn’t realize your Disney World resort hotel can be just as MAGICAL!
Currently, the four Walt Disney World theme parks (and both water parks) are temporarily closed as part of the efforts to promote safety due to concerns over the Coronavirus. However, following closure of the parks, select areas of the Resort remained in service of guests during a transitional phase.

As the Resort went through its closing phases, we continually updated this post daily as various parts of the Resort begin their temporary closures, and we are keeping it current at this time. Here is an at-a-glance list of the status of Disney World operations.
Guests who will be at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel over the next few days before the hotels are closed on March 20, 2020 at 5:00 PM due to concerns over the Coronavirus will want to be advised of some additional changes which will also take place this week.

According to the Walt Disney World website, “All Disney transportation will be suspended beginning the morning of Wednesday, March 18, 2020 through the end of the month.” (Please note that Disney’s Magical Express will continue to transport guests to and from the airport through March 20.) Details for the 2020 Disney Dining Plans have been revealed! Today’s release of 2020 Walt Disney World Vacation Packages allows us to explore Disney Dining Plans, a popular program available to Disney Resort guests booking a Disney World Vacation Package.
The Disney Dining Plan
First, a reminder that to be eligible to participate in the Disney Dining Plan, you may need to book a Walt Disney World Vacation Package (also called the Magic Your Way Package). The Package includes your stay at a participating Disney World Resort and base Park Admission tickets for everyone in your traveling party.
