Nothing wakes us up faster than the knowledge that a Disney World park day is imminent — okay, almost nothing.

We suppose if a fire alarm went off at our Disney World hotel, we might be up just a little bit quicker! Although it’s rare, we’ve seen it happen before and Disney usually advises guests when a test might be happening, but if you’re not expecting it you might be caught off guard. Refurbishment work has been announced for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — Kidani Village, Narcoossee’s will reopen soon at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and even the iconic lobby at the Grand Floridian is getting some updates. At Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, many other changes are underway including changes to the rooms, lobby, and surrounding area. And now we’ve got another update.
