Entertainment is back. Fireworks have returned. We’ve got reopening dates for hotels. And we’ve seen a lot of restaurants reopen this summer, with more reopenings on the way. Speaking of which…we’ve got another bit of reopening news to share with you, and we think this one will get you as excited as we are!Â

It’s been A WEEK. We’ve been busy running all around EPCOT getting ALL the food booth reviews for the 2021 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, WHILE keeping track of all other new snacks, restaurant reopenings, and more at Disney World. And we’ve got some restaurant menu updates for you, too!
The Wave…of American Flavors is a restaurant located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort near Magic Kingdom. This spot usually serves up fresh, market-inspired meals all day long.

We’ve enjoyed breakfast here in the past, however the restaurant is currently under refurbishment. In the meantime, you’ll find The Wave’s breakfast up at the California Grill on the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort! We wanted to check out how the dining experience had changed by moving the same meal to a completely different restaurant, so let’s check it out!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is set to reopen VERY soon after a lengthy refurbishment!

During construction, the main entrance, Monorail station, and rooms were completely revamped and rethemed to be centered around Disney’s Moana. Although these are some major changes, we noticed a smaller change that you’ll want to be aware of if you’re snacking around the resort!
We can’t even fathom everything that’s happened since last year — 2020 was a crazy year to say the least! Disney World closed and reopened. And we watched as health and safety guidelines went from being prominent at the parks to being phased out.

What a year, right? And there are STILL things at Disney World that haven’t reopened yet, including restaurants AND hotels. But that’s changing, too. Many of our favorite snack spots have reopened, along with many of our favorite restaurants, and we now have official reopening dates for the rest of Disney World’s hotels!
The Territory Lounge at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a great place to enjoy a drink and take a load off after a long day at the parks!

Although we’ve been checking out the newly reopened restaurants in Disney World, like ‘Ohana, Citricos, and Trail’s End, we noticed some new menu items pop-up at Territory Lounge!
Time to add another tally to the list of restaurants we get to welcome back from their lengthy closures!
Trail’s End Restaurant
Trail’s End Restaurant has reopened at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and we are READY to get our family-style eatin’ on. Trail’s End started serving family-style breakfast and dinner again today. Though we don’t get to reunite with our beloved fried chicken, we’re still pretty excited to eat some of this comfort food. Let’s take a first look at a reopened Trail’s End for dinner!Â

And we’re especially excited about the reopening of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in just a few days! In the meantime, we’ve been enjoying the newly-reopened ‘Ohana there. But today, we noticed a snack spot at the resort had also reopened!
October 1st might just be one of the biggest days in Disney World’s history!
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is opening soon!
Not only is it the day that Disney World begins its 50th anniversary celebration, but it’s also the day that EPCOT’s Harmonious nighttime show debuts. AND it’s also when EPCOT’s Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opens at the France Pavilion, and we can’t wait!
