We’ve tried everything from a Mike Wazowski Cake to a Tiramisu that is basically a pumpkin spice latte in food form! But, the Halloween fun is just getting started!
When you’re planning your next Disney vacation, choosing which park you’re going to visit is an entirely different ball game than it was previously.
Since guests are required to make Disney Park Pass reservations ahead of their visit to Disney World, it’s important to check which days the parks you want to visit are available. Plus, guests who have theme park tickets, Disney Resort reservations, or Annual Passes may all have varying availability, depending on the week!
It doesn’t matter how many times we’ve listened to both Frozen soundtracks, we can’t help but get emotional every time. And, even though Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been bringing back other entertainment, we’ve REALLY been missing the Frozen Sing-Along Celebration in the park!
While many shows and character interactions have been suspended during this time, experiences like Minnie’s Halloween Dine at Hollywood and Vine, Character Cavalcades, and even visits from friends and foes in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge have been taking place.
Move over, Sanderson Sisters! There’s a new drink in town that might just be spookier than those Hocus Pocus concoctions being brewed up at Starbucks!
The parks have been a HIT this Halloween when it comes to Fall snacks like the Pumpkin Spice Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich, Minnie Mouse Halloween Mousse, and Oktoberfest Poutine (just to name a few). But, there’s a new boozy drink literally bubbling up over at the Mexico Pavilion and Disney Springs in time for Día de los Muertos this year!
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
And, we’ve got plenty of merchandise and food updates to share with you, so let’s dive right on in!
Things may come and go in Disney World as the re-opening of the parks is an evolving situation. While some attractions that we may love have returned, others are taking a hiatus or closing altogether.
Recently, live entertainment hasn’t been back in the parks in the capacity that we’ve been used to in the past. Parades have been switched out for Character Cavalcades, fireworks are just starting to be tested again after being suspended, and character meet-and-greets are currently on a break (even though there are still a few modified character dining options in the parks and resorts).
Disney Resorts around the world are slowly reopening.
Just yesterday Disney announced that Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa will be reopening in Hawaii! Guests will be able to return beginning November 1st, and we know how you can nab a SWEET deal for Aulani rooms during the first two months of reopening.
At a press conference this morning, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that Florida is moving into Phase 3 of reopening.
One significant aspect of Phase 3 is that restaurants will no longer be subject to capacity restrictions (which were previously set at 50% in Phase 2). Phase 3 is effective immediately. [Read more…]
Whether you’re going for the royal look or you just need more Baby Yoda in your life, there’s a MagicBand design out there for you!
Sports fans — you’re not being left out of the action either! We’ve been watching for updates from the “NBA Bubble” since basketball games began at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. Even though the NBA playoffs are nearing their end, Disney Resort hotel guests and some Annual Passholders can now pre-order some basketball themed MagicBands for their stay.
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii has been closed since March due to the global health crisis.
Soon after the closure, Disney noted that the resort would be closed “until further notice.” Recently, reservations at Aulani were canceled through mid-October. But, now, Disney has announced an official reopening date for Aulani.
