2018 Beach Club Gingerbread Carousel
The Beach Club Gingerbread Carousel is an awesome confection that we look forward to seeing every year, so we’ve been keeping an eye on the lobby for signs of this Christmas tradition. Though there’s no sign of the iconic Carousel yet, we did spot some new decals going up around the lobby!
We first reported in July about a potential walkway that would finally connect the Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom directly by foot!

There’s been much a buzz about one of Walt Disney World’s earliest resorts, Grand Floridian, with the recent opening of The Beauty & The Beast inspired lounge, Enchanted Rose, as well as the recent installation of the beloved Gingerbread House. So what’s been going on with that neighboring construction?

While the Gingerbread Castle might be baking up in Disney World, the Grand Californian Gingerbread House will be making its way to Disneyland VERY soon! And, although we’re excited to see the adorable holiday decorations, we’re also looking forward to all the treats coming to the hotel too!
We’re back at Disney’s BoardWalk, where we noticed the strange disappearance of the NEW Ice Cream Taco at Ample Hills Creamery.

Grand Floridian Gingerbread House
One of the most MASSIVE of Disney Holiday treat traditions has been found in the lobby of Grand Floridian Resort for over 20 years. Every year this structural confection appears in the lobby of the Grand Floridian and it’s so big it even features its own snack stand inside the house! The construction is always a huge effort and we saw the first steps go into place today at the resort!
As Walt Disney World transforms to Christmas, we hula-danced right on over to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to check out their holiday offerings.
