Aaaaawwwwww yeah!
OK, I know most people probably don’t think it’s fun to write a blog post on Christmas Eve while their family is playing games at the kitchen table, but 1) I don’t want to play Minecraft on their giant family realm, and 2) THIS IS SUCH GOOD NEWS I COULDN’T HELP MYSELF!!! I get to tell you ab0ut BEACHES AND CREAM reopening and that is the best. Christmas. present. ever.
Now, yes, I did mention that our amazing DFB reporting team was spending the holidays at HOME with their FAMILIES; but it just so happened that one of our incredible team members swung by the Boardwalk in Disney World after all and was delighted to pop into Beaches and Cream for their soft opening today! Win-win!
Have you ever wanted to channel your inner Disney Princess while at Disney World and get a magical makeover?
While the kiddos can be magically transformed at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique with hair, makeup, and a tiara, those of us who are a bit, um, older can still be part of the makeover fun with the Character Couture Package at Disney World!
This fun package includes Disney character-inspired hair, makeup, and nails!
Whether you’re looking for a special mother-daughter day or an adventurous night out with friends, the Character Couture Package is a fun and not-too-expensive way to look like your favorite Disney character. And today our friends from Small World Vacations are sharing some details about the Character Couture package at Disney World!
We simply can’t let it go because it seems like Frozen-fever is here to stay at the Disney Parks. With the upcoming release of Frozen 2, a swirling storm of Frozen-themed treats have made their way across the parks, including the delicious Hidden Truth Cupcake at Artist’s Palette and the very Fall-ready Pumpkin Spice Donut Tart at Contempo Cafe.
Today we’re heading over to the Beach Club Marketplace and The Market at Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort to check out a new treat!
We had the opportunity to check out The Wonderful World of Wine experience at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club.
The Wonderful World of Wine experience gives guests the opportunity to “sample the liquid legacies of some of the finest appellations and vineyards throughout California, Italy, France, Chile, Australia and more—and learn about their flavor profiles, winemaking techniques, and soil and climate conditions.”
Disney World is home to SO MANY restaurants, and some of the BEST are in the four theme parks and in Disney Springs.
BUT many of our favorite restaurants are found at the over 20 Disney World resort hotels! Today, we’re going to tell you about the best meals you can get without ever leaving your resort.

With so many great places to dine and drink at Walt Disney World these days, there are actually a lot more must-try spots than just about anyone could squeeze into a vacation.
So when we tell you that The Crew’s Cup Lounge at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is a must must-try, you know we’re serious. Over the years, we’ve touted The Crew’s Cup Lounge as a great place to escape the heat, and it’s still that. (Check out a review here!) But I recently ate here for a meeting after not being at the lounge for a while, and I was BOWLED OVER with what I ordered.
I can’t wait to share it with YOU! (Apologies for the badly taken photos in this post, by the way — I was at a meeting and wasn’t planning on blogging the meal, but it was SO GOOD that I had to!)
Hi there, friends! Welcome to another roundup of What’s New around the Disney World Resorts!
Today, we’ll be chatting about Disney’s Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts. Let’s get started!
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is open
in Disney’s Hollywood Studios (!!!), and Disney World is celebrating with Star Wars-themed treats all over the World (see them all here). We’ve been up for a while checking out the Opening Day scene all over the Resort, so we’re bringing you what we consider a perfectly suitable breakfast for Galaxy’s Edge opening day: Red Velvet Star Wars Cake!
Except this cake… it’s from the Dark Side. [Read more…]
officially opens in Walt Disney World on Thursday, August 29th (it’s tomorrow, people!!).
In anticipation of hungry travelers, Disney has decided to extend the hours of a few Quick-Service locations around Disney Resorts, so guests can fill their bellies before entering Batuu.
