We’ve already seen so many new things in the parks for the 50th celebration, including exclusive foods, merchandise, and nighttime spectaculars! Disney World even got its own holiday to celebrate the anniversary. It’s been a huge 18-month celebration, and even though it started back in October, there are still new things popping up around the parks!

But one thing you might be wondering about are the CROWDS. We’ve seen some pretty large crowds in the parks ahead of Christmas. So what do the New Year’s Eve week crowds look like? Here’s what we’re seeing.

If you head over to Disney Springs, the shopping district in Disney World, you can find restaurants by world-class chefs with a huge variety of food options. There’s great Asian cuisine at Morimoto Asia, some of the best fried chicken you’ll ever have at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, and delicious flavors from Spain at Jaleo (just to name a few). But even if you recognize those restaurants, you may not have heard of the place we’re heading today. If you’re looking for an atmospheric, well-themed restaurant with some incredible food, The Edison might be the place for you! This “Industrial Gothic”-style restaurant has live entertainment, fun drinks, and even some bacon on a clothesline! We’ve had some fun meals at this little restaurant tucked deep back in Disney Springs, but recently we noticed some price changes that you should know about.

Perhaps this shortage is no big surprise since we have seen supply chain issues impacting everything from beef to various merchandise items in the parks.
