Disney+ has taken the streaming world by storm ever since launching 2 years ago!
The platform has produced a ton of original content like Loki, WandaVision, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and The Mandalorian, to name a few. It’s also been a space for Disney to release some of their blockbuster movies, especially when movie theaters were shut down due to the pandemic. In addition, it’s the home of countless classic Disney films! And this year, Disney is celebrating their streaming service in a special way.
Disney+ has been crushing it with the streaming content lately! Marvel’s What If series just premiered, The Mysterious Benedict Society has been keeping us on our toes, and we’ve been loving the creative Short Circuit films, too!
We’ve got a new Christmas movie for your family to enjoy! The Christmas classic Home Alone film coming soon and Disney just shared the release date!
We’ve been seeing a lot of live-action remakes of Disney movies in the past few years.
We’ve seen The Lion King, Mulan, The Jungle Book, Lady and the Tramp, and Aladdin. Did you know there are several more remakes in the works? We’re going to rank these upcoming movies based on how YOU voted!
Update: Thanks to the treat bags at Disney World’s BOO Bash, we now know that Muppets Haunted Mansion will be premiering in October!
It’s Spooky Season, friends!!
That’s right, it may be August, but the Halloween festivities have kicked off in Disney World! Main Street, U.S.A. is all decked out in Mickey wreaths and fun pumpkins, a ton of creepy merch just dropped, and BOO Bash After Hours event starts tomorrow! It’s the perfect time to get in the spirit, and what’s spookier than the Haunted Mansion?! Earlier this year we told you about a Haunted Mansion crossover with the Muppets, and we have a first look at the special!
It’s been a pretty busy year for Disney+!

Now we have even more new content to look forward to on Disney+ in August!
Between Loki and Black Widow, July was a GREAT month for Disney+ binging, especially for all the Marvel fans out there! But don’t worry, there are tons of exciting premieres to look forward to in August too, including a brand-new series of animated shorts starring the one-and-only GOOFY!
Marvel’s Black Widow was released earlier this month after being repeatedly delayed due to the global pandemic.
It was released in theaters and on Disney+ with premier access. But now, star of the film, Scarlett Johansson, is suing Disney over the way the movie was released in both theaters and on the streaming service simultaneously, claiming it was a breach of contract.
Jungle Cruise premieres TOMORROW on Disney+ and in theaters around the country!
Disney has been preparing by releasing special themed desserts, selling limited edition merch, and even hosting the premiere at Disneyland, where we saw the STARS of the movie, Emily Blunt and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson!!! And tomorrow, Disneyland is continuing the celebration by releasing some brand new limited time tiki mugs!
There has been a lot of hype surrounding the new Jungle Cruise film!
Not only is the attraction being updated in both Disneyland and Disney World, but Disneyland held a special red carpet event for the world premiere of the movie. This film joins the line-up of movies that have been released on Disney+ and theaters, but now we’ve got a date for when Jungle Cruise will be free to ALL Disney+ subscribers!
