It’s safe to say we have been watching a lot of Disney+ recently.
You can check out one of our favorite Disney+ watch lists here, but we can’t wait for summer because we’re looking forward to an all-new animated movie coming straight to Disney+!
WE HAVE A CODE KERMIT.
The Muppets are OFFICIALLY making their way to a Disney+ original series and we are pumped. Disney announced today that there will be an all-new Muppets show premiering on Disney+ featuring our favorite lovable puppets…unscripted? We’re not really sure what that means but we can’t wait to see Muppets Now!
Whether you love Disney’s live-action remakes or you can do without them, one thing is certain: they aren’t going away anytime soon! It seems that within the next few years, there will be hardly any Disney animated films left that have not been translated into a live-action counterpart. 😉
Here is the full list of films, which includes completed projects set for a theatrical release as well as films that are still in the development phase!
Disney Springs reopened today, becoming the first part of Disney World to do so as the parks remain closed.
Still, things aren’t quite how they used to be in the dining, retail, and entertainment complex as we’re seeing a good amount of added health and safety measures. One such measure is that all guests and Cast Members are required to undergo temperature screenings. Here was our team’s experience with the temperature checks today!
We’ve seen a lot of Disney World president Josh D’Amaro over the past few weeks as he’s sent us some friendly messaging during the Disney World closure.
Now, Josh D’Amaro is no longer leading Disney World. In a press release today, Disney announced its new leadership team, including D’Amaro moving into the position of Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products — the role previously held by the current CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Bob Chapek.
There are LOTS of interesting and exciting developments across the Walt Disney Company! We are starting to see the gradual reopening process begin around the globe, and the news just doesn’t stop these days!
So, let’s get caught up on all things Disney Parks and entertainment!
While we’ve been stuck at home, we’re looking for as many games as possible to entertain us (if you’re bored, you can always paint some Star Wars rocks, you know ;D).Â
We’ve shown you Disney puzzles, board games, how to build your own DIY board games, and even toilet paper Minnie Ears. We’ve played DFB Snack Madness, a Counter-Service Throw Down, and the Table-Service Throw Down with you in our instagram stories (did your favorite snacks and restaurants win??)! But, now you can play another series of games with these Disney Instagram filters!
May was (and still is!) a big month on Disney+, especially for Star Wars fans with the debut of The Mandalorian documentary series, the final episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and the addition of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to complete the Skywalker Saga. And we already know some BIG news for July, because Disney+ and Lin-Manual Miranda just announced that HAMILTON will be streaming exclusively on Disney+ starting July 3rd!
But that’s doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty to look forward to on Disney+ for JUNE (like, say, the premiere of Artemis Fowl, for instance!) , so let’s take a look at EVERYTHING on the way next month! [Read more…]
Just moments ago the author of the mega-popular young adult series Percy Jackson & The Olympians made a HUGE announcement on Twitter!
That’s right — Rick Riordan just shared the BIG NEWS that Disney+ will be turning his books into a live-action TV show!
There’s nothing quite as soothing as watching a Disney+ docuseries.
We’ve seen (and loved!) The Imagineering Story, we’re working our way through our binge of Disney Gallery — Star Wars: The Mandalorian, and now we’ve got another docuseries to add to our list! If you need us, we’ll be patiently waiting for Into the Unknown: The Making of Frozen 2.
