When Pixar’s Onward was released, an all-new The Simpsons short was released with it.

However, with the theatrical release of Onward cut short by the current world health situation, the film was soon released on Disney+. Now, the accompanying short, “Playdate with Destiny” will be coming to the streaming service too! Yay!

Right now, a lot of us are experiencing some MAJOR post-Disney blues since we haven’t been visiting the parks!

Although Disney has been trying to do everything they can to help by donating excess food, donating masks and other materials, and even extending Annual Passes, the company may still take a hit financially with the recent closures. Since ALL the Disney Parks are closed (which hasn’t happened before now) and Disney Cruise Line sailings are cancelled, Disney is likely to see some changes in the aftermath. And now we have insight into just how much the closures are impacting the value of the Walt Disney Company.

The current situation has had an immense impact on people across the globe. And even though Disney is a major company, they haven’t been immune to the effects. All of the Disney parks are currently closed, Disney Cruise Line sailings are halted until at least April 28th, and many other arms of the Walt Disney Company face an uncertain future. UPDATE (4/24): Spider-Man 3 will now be released on November 5, 2021. Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on February 11, 2022. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will release March 25, 2022.

Since Onward and Frozen 2 have come to Disney+, we’ve been watching ALL the movies and shows from the comfort of our living room couches.
