So we’ve been patiently waiting for an opening date for some new Downtown Disney restaurants. We SHOULD get an opening date soon for the new Tiana-themed restaurant in Disneyland. Disney previously revealed that its NEW land, San Fransokyo Square, would open soon, but now we have a specific opening date!

First, so much new stuff has either come to the parks or IS coming to the parks. We got a brand-new ToonTown, including Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. A new Tiana-themed restaurant is coming soon PLUS there’s a Marvel musical going on RIGHT NOW. Just whoa! If you’ve ever wanted to visit Disneyland, this could be your chance because Disney is giving away a FREE trip to its resort on the West Coast!

Disney World just spent 18 months celebrating its 50th anniversary. Disney’s Animal Kingdom just celebrated its 25th birthday. The Walt Disney Company is celebrating its 100th anniversary right now. Disneyland will be celebrating a birthday soon, too – it’s 68th. Now we know how Disneyland plans on celebrating that milestone!
Summer 2023 has been a BIG season for movie releases!

The live-action The Little Mermaid kicked off a season filled with additions from the Fast & the Furious and Transformers franchises, as well as another film from Pixar. To round out the summer, we’ll get the highly-anticipated Barbie movie from Greta Gerwig and Disney’s new film Haunted Mansion. And if you’re really excited about that last one, we’ve got some news for you!

Halloween in Disneyland Resort
Disney kicks off Halloween celebrations in Magic Kingdom in August (which is NEXT MONTH!) and Disneyland Resort starts celebrating in September. One of the big ways that the west coast celebrates is with the very popular Oogie Boogie Bash event — and we’ve got some important news about that party.
It is a BIG day for Disney fans hoping to grab tickets to a Halloween Party.

Oogie Boogie Bash is a very popular Halloween party that takes place at Disneyland Resort. Tickets for the event initially went on sale to the general public at the end of June (after Magic Key Holder tickets sold out in the pre-sale), and it’s safe to say that things did NOT go well. Sales were paused, and it was announced last week that ticket sales would resume today. However, if you are wanting tickets, you better act FAST!

We love seeing Tiana in the Magic Happens parade. We can’t WAIT to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when it opens. However, we may be MOST excited about Tiana’s Palace Restaurant because, well…food!
