It’s officially Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, and in honor of the occasion, Disney released over 50 NEW treats at both Disney World and Disneyland. We’ve been working our way through those delicious eats, and our latest adventure takes us to a menu item that combines two of our favorite foods.
Disneyland Resort has three hotels that offer incredible amenities and locations to the parks — but when we say they come at a COST, we mean it.
Disneyland Hotel
Both Disney World and Disneyland hotels are typically a little more (okay, some are a LOT more) expensive than your average hotel, but you’re paying to stay close to Disney Parks and for other amenities and perks like Early Theme Park Entry. If you prefer to stay close to the parks, Disney is now offering a hotel deal for Disneyland hotel guests — but not everyone qualifies!
MagicBands have been a part of life in Disney World since 2013, but they recently received a major glow-up in the form of the MagicBand+.

The original MagicBand and the new MagicBand+ operate similarly, letting Disney World guests use them to gain entry to the parks, enter Lightning Lanes, pay for merchandise, and more, and MagicBand+ even offers some fun interactive features. Over on the West Coast, Disneyland has never had any form of the MagicBand, but we found out that the new MagicBand+ would be coming there this year, too! And now, we finally have an idea of when MagicBand+ will be available at Disneyland Resort.
We are still processing all of the news that came out of the D23 Expo about Disneyland.

We enjoyed seeing more concept art of what the reimagined ToonTown is going to look like, we learned that a new Princess and the Frog store will be opening soon, and we can’t WAIT to see more about the new attraction coming to Avengers Campus. In the meantime, though, there’s still a lot of new stuff happening around Disneyland every day, so let’s get to the updates!
Don’t you just love Halloween? The spooky decorations are up, the spooky snacks are being served up, and the spookiest party is underway!

Another reason to love Halloween, though, is that this is the time of year that more Haunted Mansion merchandise gets released. Now, a new piece of Haunted Mansion merchandise just got released and we have a great need!

The decorations are up, we’ve been to the Oogie Boogie Bash, and we’ve even seen some special villainous characters. Now, though, we’re taking a walk through Downtown Disney to participate in a scavenger hunt — for a PRIZE!

Grad Nite at Disney California Adventure
There are some fun separately ticketed nighttime events that guests can attend: there’s a Halloween party, a holiday party, and even Star Wars nights! There’s also a Grad Nite event, which is for graduating high school seniors — and we now have more information about the event for the class of 2023, including ticket prices.
Disney went ALL out with its Halloween merchandise this year, and we are here for it.
Halloween merchandise is our THING
From merchandise inspired by Silly Symphony’s Skeleton Dance to a TON of new Haunted Mansion gear to fun Halloween clothing, they really didn’t hold back. But the HOTTEST Halloween souvenir this year was a replica of Disneyland’s giant Mickey pumpkin, which sold out FAST. Well, that souvenir is BACK…but there’s a catch.

These ears were so popular that they pretty much sold out immediately but we’ve never forgotten them, even though we haven’t really seen them since their initial release. But guess what — you’ll never BELIEVE what we found in Disneyland today!
If you love Tiana, then you’re in luck — there are a lot of Tiana-themed things to look forward to!
Princess Tiana
A Tiana series has been announced for Disney+, Tiana will be taking over Splash Mountain in Disney World and Disneyland with the NEW Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride, a Tiana restaurant is coming to Disneyland, AND a new Tiana store is coming to Disneyland too! The store is actually set to open in just a few days and recently we got a glimpse of something that showed it is that much closer to becoming a reality.
