Lunar New Year Festival
It’s the Lunar New Year Celebration that celebrates, well, the Chinese Lunar New Year. The festival brings in special entertainment, characters, and more, but most importantly, it brings in food booths with our favorite thing…FOOD (and drinks). So, we’ve visited the festival, and we’ve pretty much tasted EVERYTHING, so we’re now going to tell you about the best things we ate and drank there!
If you’ve been waiting to become a Disneyland Annual Passholder, that day is finally here!
Welcome Magic Key Holders!
For a while now, Disneyland hasn’t had purchases available for new Annual Passholders to purchase a pass, only allowing existing members to renew their passes. They last opened up their Annual Pass program again around this time last year, and now tomorrow ALL Magic Key passes will be available again starting tomorrow!

Disneyland Resort is running a huge celebration from now through February 16th, 2025 so you’ve got just one month to see it ALL. From live entertainment to special merchandise to the FOOD (which we’re most excited about, of course), there’s a lot in store this year. While the food booths are a highlight, plenty of other new snacks are hiding at restaurants around Disney California Adventure! Right now, we’re headed over to Aunt Cass Café to see what special festival eats they’re serving up this year.
A NEW bride has arrived at Disneyland Park!

And we aren’t talking about a bride who is living out her Disneyland wedding dreams on Main Street, U.S.A. This new bride is inside one of Disneyland’s most popular attractions!
The 2025 Lunar New Year Festival at Disney California Adventure officially begins on January 17th and will run through February 16th, 2025. It is the Year of the Snake, and the Lunar New Year Festival is ready to pay tribute to Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean cultures with food booths, entertainment, character sightings, and more!
Wrapped with Love Booth
The Lunar New Year Festival features six Marketplaces, or food booths. Each booth serves up a variety of eats and drinks to explore. We are headed over to Wrapped with Love to try out the items this booth has to offer!
Lunar New Year is HERE, and so is Disneyland’s annual celebration of the holiday! From January 17th to February 16th, guests will be able to enjoy delicious eats, entertainment, merchandise, and more.

One of Disney’s newest hotel pools is closing for refurbishment. In mid-January 2025, Disney announced that the Pools at Pixar Place Hotel — located at the Disneyland Resort — will be closing for refurbishment next month.

According to Disney, “Beginning February 3, 2025, the Pixar Place Hotel pool deck will be closed for refurbishment.” No end date for the refurbishment is specified in the announcement.
