Disneyland surprised everyone by opening a restaurant EARLY!
Despite having an official opening date of October 25th, 2024, the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree soft-opened a day early in Bayou Country and we stopped by to check it out!
It’s a big day over in Disneyland! Yes, we’re over on the West Coast checking out a brand new offering in the park.
As we previously reported, Disneyland’s Lightning Lane Premier Pass is officially available in the Disneyland app, and we purchased it to try it out to give you ALL the details on the service. So, yes, we paid $400 per person to get Lightning Lane Premier Pass and we’ve been hitting up rides that offer it. But the biggest question we know YOU have is “Is it worth it?” Well, we’re going to break it down for you.
Both Disneyland and Disney World threw us for a spin earlier this month when they announced the release of Lighting Lane Premier Pass for both coasts.
This is in addition to Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass currently available at both resorts but work differently from one another. Premier Pass also has different rules depending on which coast you’re visiting, but in Disneyland, it’s open for all guests willing to pay $400 a day, so we knew we had to try it out to tell you what we thought — here’s just how fast you can get through EVERYTHING included in Lightning Lane Premier Pass in Disneyland.
We’re here at Disneyland to cover the debut of the Lightning Lane Premiere Pass!
We’re conquering every ride included with the Premier Pass and, in the process, learning a thing or two about the new skip-the-line system. While we were prepared for most things the Premier Pass had to offer — including its astronomical price — there were some surprises with the new system that we have to tell you about! [Read more…]
It’s baaaaack. If you’ve been waiting for your chance to be part of Disneyland Resort’s Annual Pass program, you need to listen up. Unlike Disney World’s Annual Passes, the selection at Disneyland is not available to purchase 365 days a year. In fact, Disneyland Magic Key Passes are unavailable for a good portion of the year.
Although Magic Key sales are currently paused, Disney recently revealed some pretty significant price increases. We had a feeling that this meant Magic Key Passes would go on sale soon, and sure enough, Disney just dropped some big news about when these passes will go on sale.Â
It’s a BIG day in Disneyland Resort!
Today (October 23rd), Disney is launching its new Lightning Lane Premier Pass service on the West Coast (before it launches in Disney World next week), and we’re here to try it out. Is this new offering for skipping the long lines worth the cost? We’re about to find out.
We’ve got BIG Disneyland news to share!
Lots of change is coming to Disneyland soon! Disney’s already announced a reopening date for the refurbished Disneyland Railroad and the debut of Lightning Lane Premiere Pass for the theme parks. But, Disney just confirmed something we’ve been keeping a close watch over and we’re so excited about this new change! [Read more…]
There are two things you need to know about me. First, I’m obsessed with Halloween. I promise I come by it honestly: I was literally BORN on Halloween (yes, before you ask, Halloween birthdays are THE BEST, but also confusing because for a long time, I thought ALL birthdays were celebrated with costumes and everyone giving you free candy).
Another thing you should know: I love Disneyland. Now don’t get me wrong, I love Disney World, too, but there are just some things about Disneyland (ahem…the FOOD) that makes me love it more. Part of the reason is because Disneyland goes ALL out for Halloween — and, as a Halloween baby, nothing makes me happier. BOTH parks get decorated for the spooky season (and the gigantic Oogie Boogie above the California Adventure gates just makes me giddy this time of year). Oogie Boogie Bash is the superior Disney Halloween party (don’t come at me, but it’s true). Disneyland also has a really cool Halloween tradition that ties into a third thing you need to know about me: I’m a sci-fi nerd.
We know it can be a big bummer if you’re visiting a Disney park and a ride goes down for refurbishment, but it’s always exciting when that ride reopens.
Sometimes those refurbishments are just an opportunity for Disney to spruce up things on the ride a bit. Sometimes, it’s just time to give the rides some extra maintenance. Other times, rides get new vehicles, tracks, themes, and more. Well, one classic Disney ride has been closed for a while now, but it’s set to reopen SOON.
We’re just going to say it: Halloween in Disneyland just HITS a certain way. It’s our favorite holiday to celebrate in the parks.
First, Oogie Boogie Bash is one of our favorite parties of the year. Then you’ve got the AMAZING Halloween decorations throughout the parks (hello, massive Mickey pumpkin!). Plus, Haunted Mansion Holiday is a MUST when visiting during spooky season. We’re obviously not the only folks who think so, though. Recently, two BIG celebrities also celebrated a little Halloween Time in Disneyland.
