Recently, we found ourselves over at Disney California Adventure for the Festival of Holidays, where we indulged in a lot of festive foods and drinks. Unbeknownst to everyone, Disney would soon after sneak in a NEW Avengers-themed treat worth trying. And try we did, as we headed over to Avengers Campus to taste the new dessert. However, we found this snack came with a catch — not only is it a variation of a popular Avengers Campus snack, it’s a total replacement!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland
In Disneyland, character experiences are tons of fun. Although you do have some traditional meet-and-greets, you’ll find a lot of characters just roaming around, especially in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. On any given day, you might bump into Din Djarin and Grogu, Ahsoka, Hera and Chopper, and more. Sleeping Beauty Castle is all dolled up for the occasion, and the decorations are up. The holiday popcorn buckets have arrived. Holiday merchandise is literally EVERYWHERE. The Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays has started. Now we’ve got an update on one of the most ICONIC Disneyland holiday traditions: candy canes!
When it comes to nighttime shows, NO ONE does it like Disney.
World of Color
Right now in Disneyland, you’ve got the amazing holiday fireworks show that happens on select nights in Disneyland Park (pro tip: Star Wars fans should watch from the Millennium Falcon). There’s also World of Color — Season of Light in Disney California Adventure, which now has a little something NEW.
The Walt Disney Company is still celebrating its 100th Anniversary, which is a VERY big deal.

Magic Kingdom recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary. Disneyland celebrated its 68th birthday this year. But there’s another very IMPORTANT date in Disney history that we can’t forget. That is November 18th, TODAY, which marks the 95th birthday of Mickey and Minnie!
It’s official — Fantasmic! will be returning to Disneyland in 2024!

You can catch this show currently in Disney World, but after an unexpected fire destroyed the Maleficent dragon animatronic in Disneyland, the show has been indefinitely closed while they revamp the design. Now that it’s been announced the show is returning, remember that these two things will be very different when the show returns.
