Disney loves changing things up on us — and the latest updates have come to the Pixar Place Hotel!

This re-themed hotel overlooks Disney California Adventure Park and will be complete with artwork and styles from classic Pixar films and animation studios. While the transformation isn’t complete just yet, the lobby is open — and we’re bringing you with us to check it out!
Halloween is only 5 short months away, and that means Disney is filling us in on the plans pertaining to the spooks that will take place this fall.
Halloween in Disneyland
Today, we found out that Disneyland’s Halloween season and Oogie Boogie Bash would take place between September 1st and October 31st, 2023. Along with the Halloween season will come a special fireworks show, “Halloween Screams,” but that means the current show will be taking a break for a while.
Sure, summer just started, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start looking forward to Halloween.
Who’s ready for Oogie Boogie Bash?
We’ve already celebrated Halfway to Halloween. We’ve also already seen tickets go on sale for Disney World’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Now, though, we’ve got a HUGE update about Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash. That’s right, we now know THE DATES of the parties!
Just as we started to settle into a cool summer mindset, Disney came along to remind us that Halloween is right around the corner!
We’ve got some spooky good news!
Recently Disney World announced that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning this year! Tickets are on sale now, and we’re already planning out the perfect costume. Now, it’s Disneyland’s turn.

A new store is making its way to Avengers Campus, Splash Mountain has permanently CLOSED to become Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and one restaurant is in the process of becoming a Tiana-themed spot. But now there’s something new to look forward to if you plan to visit Disneyland Resort in the evening!

Splash Mountain at Disneyland
A classic Disneyland attraction, Splash Mountain, is set to permanently close so Disney Imagineers can reimagine it as a NEW attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, based on The Princess and the Frog. Its Splash Mountain counterpart in Disney World closed in January 2023 and construction is already underway for the new attraction. But what does the last day of Splash Mountain in Disneyland look like? Let’s take a look!
