New Dessert for Prix Fixe Be Our Guest Restaurant Dinner! Grey Stuff Included??
News came out last month about big changes coming to Dinner at Magic Kingdom’s Be Our Guest Restaurant, beginning July 27, 2018. We learned about dinner becoming a new prix fixe meal, and that the experience will require 2 Table Service credits on the Disney Dining Plan. We also received all sorts of menu details, which you can read about in full and see pictures of by clicking here.
One thing we didn’t learn, however, is what the Beast will be serving for dessert after dinner in his Castle. While guests will order their choice from the appetizer and entree selections, the final course remained a mystery… until now!!

News: Menu Overhaul at Epcot’s Electric Umbrella (Two Words: Beer Cheese!)
Greetings from Epcot’s Future World!!
We stopped by the Electric Umbrella today and were surprised to find that the menu has received a pretty substantial makeover.
My immediate reaction, honestly? I was kind of bummed! I know that Electric Umbrella isn’t really a prime destination when it comes to dining in Epcot, where so much variety can be enjoyed — especially around World Showcase.
But that’s exactly why it has been fun to to find some truly decent eats in this Future World Counter Service spot over the past couple years. The French Dip Burger has actually been one of the tops in regards to Quick Service burgers for some time now. And I’ve totally enjoyed the Sausage and Pepper Sandwich and the unique Veggie Naan Wich even more recently. Good surprises, all, for a place that mostly flies under the radar.
But they’re all gone from the new menu.
And in their place? Well, let’s go down the list. First we’ve got the Mojo Pork Burger, which is similar to the previous French Dip Burger in that it’s another meat-topped-with-even-more-meat sandwich.
Marinated Mojo Pork tops the 1/3 pound burger, and it’s all drizzled with a Cilantro Lime Aioli and served with fries.
And much as I may miss the French Dip Burger, I’d be lying if I said the new Brisket Sandwich didn’t have me intrigued.
Fort Wilderness Sleepy Hollow Dessert Party!!
The Return to Sleepy Hollow Event, which made its debut last year, will make its way back to Disney World’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground this fall!
The evening event features a group viewing of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” animated classic from 1949 right inside the Tri-Circle-D Ranch stables. You may even catch a glimpse of galloping ghosts and encounter the Headless Horseman himself! [Read more…]
The Newest Must-Get Cupcake in Disney World
Well, it’s just one Instagram-able cupcake after the other coming out of Main Street Bakery these days, isn’t it?
I’m about to introduce you to the new Flower Crown Cupcake!!
This trendy cupcake has taken the spot of the Rose Gold Minnie Ears Cupcake in the Main Street Bakery case. Don’t worry, though — if you need a Rose Gold Cupcake to match your Rose Gold Minnie Ears or Rose Gold Spirit Jersey, you can still find one at Epcot’s Sunshine Seasons and a few of the Disney resort hotels — at least for the time-being. We saw it safe inside the bakery case in Epcot this very morning!
Anyway, just like the Rose Gold Ears Cupcake, you can also find Minnie Ears in the parks to go with this one for some match-y photo ops 🙂 ! Here are the Flower Crown Minnie Ears…
