We’re getting SO EXCITED for the upcoming opening of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser AKA the Star Wars hotel in Disney World!

The hotel is scheduled to open in Spring of 2022 and, from all the information we know, will be like living in a Star Wars story! There will be elaborately themed food, you can choose an alliance, hidden parts of the ship to discover, character appearances, and even people to break out of the brig! The experience sounds out of this world. We’ve seen Cast Member hiring posts for the Galactic Starcruiser in the past, and now we know about another Disney group that can join the crew!
Ready to live out all of your Star Wars dreams? It sounds like Disney World’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (a.k.a. the Star Wars hotel) will be just the place to do that!
We Can’t Wait to “Board” This Ship
So far, we’ve heard a few things about Galactic Starcruiser. We know about some of the cool activities you’ll get to do on board, some impressive lightsabers you’ll get to see, and some of the spots where you’ll be able to eat or grab a drink. This week Disney released a video including even more details about the experience! But, there’s still a LOT we don’t know! Like, how much will this whole thing cost? Is there a space pool? One of the most exciting projects coming to Disney World has gotta be the upcoming Star Wars hotel — Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

The hotel will be more of an experience than a typical Disney resort and it will be unlike any other Disney destination in the entire world. Disney is actually calling the experience “storyliving” rather than storytelling! We’ve been closely keeping an eye on its construction, and looking for any updates about the incredibly immersive resort. Now, we finally have a better idea on when Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will open!
We’re excited about many of the new projects coming to Disney World soon, but if there’s one that intrigues us the most, it would probably be the new Star Wars Hotel!

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is set to open in 2022 and it’s unlike any other Disney Resort. It’ll be similar to a cruise ship experience, where guests are “onboard” for two days.
