The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser opened back in March 2022 and it’s a truly unique offering in Disney World. The two-night experience immerses you in a Star Wars story and your decisions throughout your visit will affect how your stay plays out. Similar to a cruise ship, you stay “onboard” and eat your meals in the dining room, enjoy entertainment, and even get a “cabin” to sleep in. Last year Disney World opened its most unique hotel to date — the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

This new resort is like living inside of a Star Wars movie, but if that movie were acted out on a cruise ship. The two-night experience includes your meals, your lodging, and 45 hours worth of interactive story elements that you can explore, but the big thing deterring guests from booking is the price. It’s a pretty hefty cost, but now there’s a new way for select guests to save!

ALL of the 2023 Dates That Have Already SOLD OUT for the Star Wars Hotel in Disney World

2023 is shaping up to be a momentous year for the Disney company.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The final voyage for the Star Wars Hotel will be September 28th-30th, 2023. After that, the Galactic Starcruiser will be permanently closed. On May 26th, Disney shared a message on the Galactic Starcruiser website stating that the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser is unavailable for new bookings. However, the message also indicated that a limited number of rooms could become available for new bookings “from time to time.” Disney urges guests to continue checking the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser website for any new availability.

The 50th celebrations at Walt Disney World have wrapped up, and just as those come to a close the entire company is celebrating its 100th anniversary! 2023 might be an important year for many guests as well. For example, you might be taking your first trip on the Galactic Starcruiser, Disney’s immersive Star Wars experience. Also known as the Star Wars hotel, the Starcruiser combines Disney’s resort amenities, dining, entertainment, and activities in a 2-night/3-day experience. When it first opened in March of 2022, some scrambled to get a spot while others were more hesitant due to the price tag. Now that the experience has had time to settle in, you might be ready to book! Let’s take a look at which dates have already sold out for this experience in 2023.

Disney Releases FIRST Discount for the ‘Star Wars’ Hotel

Back in March 2022, Disney World opened the first-of-its-kind Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel.

The resort is more of an experience than a hotel, a space where guests can dress up, step aboard a “starship,” and live out their own interactive Star Wars stories. It was a very cool concept, but many people were deterred from trying it due to the hefty price tag that came along with it.
