Time to plan your favorite way to celebrate in style! Disney World is offering some fun, cool, and downright romantic ways to ring in 2011!

La Hacienda de San Angel: Enjoy a six-course menu accompanied by live music. Menu includes a margarita, ceviche, Chiles Toreados y Chorizitos, Sope de Chilorio, and cheese empanada with green sauce. Meat and Seafood platters and dessert — a sweet guava tamal — will be included. The new year will be marked by champagne and a Spanish tradition — eating 12 grapes that are said to predict how your upcoming year will play out.

Disney Food Post Round-Up: December 5, 2010

Welcome to the first Disney Food Post Round-Up of December 2010!! As always, we’ll begin with the news:

  • Don’t forget to vote in our DFB Choice Awards! The awards have been set up so that Disney Food Blog readers can help future Disney-trippers by letting their favorite restaurants be known! You can vote through December 22nd.
  • Disney’s launched its own snack chip line in the parks!
  • Take a look at some new Le Cellier menu items.
  • The Coke Freestyle Machine, featuring 106 flavors, is now at WDW’s Downtown Disney movie theater.
  • Disney World Annual Passholders can get a free (small) bag of Karamell Kuche caramel corn from December 4-11! Just show a valid photo ID with your Annual Pass to get the treat.

Also, I’d like to share with you a very special holiday request from a very special colleague. The SamLand’s Disney Adventures Blog is reaching out to the Disney Community to help raise funds for Women at Work, a nonprofit focused on helping people learn career skills and find employment. DFB Choice Awards Voting Now Open

Thanks to all who submitted nominations for the 2010 DFB Choice Awards! After going through nearly 500 nomination forms, the front-runners in each category have earned a spot in the polls.

These nominees were chosen by the readers of the Disney Food Blog, and each one was nominated dozens — or, in some cases, hundreds — of times. If your favorite didn’t make it into the top three, don’t forget to nominate it again next year!

Voting has begun; make your views known below! Voting will remain open until December 22nd, and winners will be announced on December 31st! We’ll leave the results viewable for now, so you can root for your favorite! As we get closer to the final voting deadline, we’ll remove the results so the winners will be a surprise! 🙂

Disney World has introduced a new way to celebrate New Year’s Eve — dessert and dinner parties!
