All around Disney World, you can find a variety of the delicious fruit-flavored ice cream. You can try floats, cups, serenades, and even cake topped with the delicious treat. There are lots of different flavors, too, like pineapple and orange. It just depends on which counter you stop at for which options you have. But now, it turns out that one popular Dole Whip location is down one option.

We may still be feeling the raw emotions that come with bidding farewell to a classic attraction in Magic Kingdom, but Disney has announced even more changes will be coming to entertainment across the park. Just recently, we saw changes to the parade and cavalcade schedules. This week alone, we saw the closing of a classic Disney attraction as it gets updated to reopen later this year. We got a clue that a popular character dining experience might soon return. The Country Bear Jamboree closed its doors, but before that, a LOT of people came by Magic Kingdom to bid them farewell. Country Bear Jamboree is changing in a huge way in Magic Kingdom — Disney Imagineers are updating the show with “an all-new act.” The bears are going to be singing Disney songs in NEW styles, like pop country, rockabilly, and bluegrass! The attraction officially closed its doors on January 27th, and now we’ve got our first signs that work is taking place.

Country Bear Jamboree
Country Bear Jamboree was one of the opening day attractions at Magic Kingdom, opening alongside the park on October 1st, 1971. Last year, Disney announced that the attraction would be closing to make room for a new, updated version of the show. The original Country Bear Jamboree gave its final performances on January 26th, 2024. And now that it’s officially closed, let’s take a look at what’s REALLY changing with the classic attraction.
