Let’s talk Minnie ears — one of the most popular souvenirs at the Disney parks!

2020 was a BIG year for Minnie ears. There were 12 different sets released with the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection, we saw multiple styles for the holidays, and there were several more designer pairs released to the public. It literally felt like a new pair of ears was dropped every week, so we decided to actually count and see how many there were. Turns out there were 98 pairs released in 2020! That’s right, 98 pairs — and we’ve gathered ALL of them up in this post!

The year of the ox kicks off when the Lunar New Year rolls around on February 12th. We’ve already prepped for the occasion by checking out some awesome Lunar New Year merchandise — like Minnie Ears! Now, much of the collection is available online!
We learned back in November that legendary Walt Disney Company Imagineer Joe Rohde would be retiring today, January 4th, 2021.

His 40 year-long career with Disney has included such amazing projects as World Showcase pavilions, Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout!, Captain EO, and most notably, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. His time with the Imagineering department has produced some incredible work, and today he and his coworkers had a few things to say about his retirement.

2020 was quite a unique year for everyone, including The Walt Disney Company.

All of the Disney theme parks around the world temporarily closed for a period of time, and some have had to shut down again or have remained closed. Things have been tough for those in the community as well with many Cast Members having been furloughed or laid off, and so many dealing with loss due to the pandemic. But, in a time of difficulty, so many have also reached out to help others in need.
In 2020, we were ALL about Minnie Mouse and Disney Parks attractions with the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collections that were released throughout the year.

But, 2020 is over, and we’re moving on to a brand NEW collection — Stitch Crashes Disney! In this series, Stitch will be “crashing” classic Disney animated films and some new merchandise (including plushes and pins!) will be released every month as a result of his mischievous adventures.
