This year has been filled with challenges, and that’s certainly true for The Walt Disney Company as well.

We’ve seen a massive restructuring in the entertainment aspect of the company; and Disney theme parks around the world temporarily closed, some reopened, and then some closed again. We’ve also seen large layoffs announced for the Parks, Experiences and Products division. But, today, just days ahead of Disney’s Virtual Investor Day, Disney stock is trading at some of the highest values its seen all year.
Disney’s fan club, D23, has spent every month of 2020 releasing a new limited edition Mickey Mouse Plush! That’s one plush per month!
And we’ve seen some absolutely fantastic plushes in the collection, including a Mickey dressed up like Walt Disney, a Mouseketeer Mickey, and even an Animation-inspired Mickey!
The cruise industry has been immensely impacted by the global health crisis.
Disney has noted that the Disney Cruise Line will likely be the last segment of the business to return, and other cruise companies are contending with similar lengthy closures. Now, despite Carnival Cruise Line announcing a resumption of operations prior to the end of 2020, more companies (Carnival included) are announcing delays.
