Who’s excited for season 2 of The Mandalorian on Disney+? We’re obviously VERY excited to see the return of Baby Yoda (and of course, the other characters, too!).

We found a NEW Disney-themed Halloween collection at Hot Topic, and it’s got Mickey in all kinds of fun and festive holiday outfits! Plus, the online shop has a few more “tricks” up its glow-in-the-dark sleeves…Â
Disney-themed tabletop games have been making all of this time at home extra memorable, extra fun, and maybe a little bit extra competitive.

The combination of Disney and board games is a no-brainer for our families, so we are LOVING how quickly they are releasing new games!
Pixar’s Up is one of our favorite Adventure stories, it is also deeply touching, and visually beautiful, which lends to some AMAZING merch. Last year at New York Comic Con, Funko released a POP! vinyl pair featuring Carl & Ellie as children that became an instant classic and sold out almost immediately.

This year’s New York Comic Con will look a little bit different. Fans and vendors will still be participating, just in a more socially-distant way! One thing that will be the same — a NEW Carl & Ellie POP! will be available.

Recently, Disney launched a campaign called #DisneyHalloMoments to help fans celebrate spooky season with themed weekend activities and so much more. To kick off this campaign, Disney is hosting a competition that gives you the chance to win a $1,000 Disney gift card to be used on shopdisney or at a Disney Store!
The last few months have brought a WIDE variety of travel bans and restrictions for those entering and exiting the United States.

Since March 18th, the US land borders (at Canada and Mexico) have been under a non-essential travel restriction. The restrictions have been extended month-by-month, and now the closure has been extended into October.
Last month the Center for Disease Control and Prevention made a controversial change to its testing guidelines for the global health crisis.

Initially, testing was recommended for anyone who had come in contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19. The change removed this recommendation and noted that those without symptoms didn’t need to get tested, which sparked some controversy — including remarks from Disney Chairman Bob Iger.
Although we love colorful things here at DFB, we also appreciate going old-school to black and white (or grayscale) because it reminds us of Steamboat Willie and the Mickey Mouse Club of the 1950s!
