September is already here somehow, and you know what that means… It’s time to get ready for spooky season. Things are a little different in terms of celebrating Halloween at Disney this year, especially with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party being canceled.Â

But, Disney is still celebrating the season with decorations, merchandise, and spooky snacks. Another REALLY different thing is that guests must all wear masks when visiting Disney World. OK, so not THAT Mulan…the new live-action one! You know, the one that was SUPPOSED to be released right when all the craziness blew up in the world? So what better way to celebrate the long-awaited release than by sporting everyone’s favorite new accessory to come out of the global crisis — a mask!

The global health crisis caused the world to stop, including the Disney theme parks, and even though most of them have reopened around the world, sometimes, ya know, you’re still just not feeling 100%, even if you’re Goofy.
Many sectors of the Walt Disney Company have had to contend with major business interruptions due to the global health crisis.
Disney Cruise Line
A very high profile impact was on the Disney Cruise Line in particular. Sailings have been canceled and moved since January of this year and Disney Cruises are currently suspended through the end of October. Now, through the Port of Galveston, we have some idea of what Disney is thinking about health protocols when it comes to the return of cruises.
We don’t know about you, but we’re getting excited about the upcoming release of Disney’s live-action Mulan. The movie releases TOMORROW, September 4th on Disney+ as part of a premium access program that will cost $29.99 (although it will be available to all Disney+ subscribers for FREE in December).

In honor of the release, we’re seeing a lot of really cool merchandise dropping, including a new popcorn bucket and sipper, along with new Mulan t-shirts, a Mulan Disney Castle collection, and more! But now we’ve just spotted a brand new Mulan item inspired by the live-action movie online!
If you’re like us, you probably fell in love with the idea of Wakanda the first time you saw Black Panther. Turns out, we definitely weren’t the only ones.

Black Panther and Wakanda are super inspiring on several levels, which is part of the reason that star Chadwick Boseman’s passing earlier this week was so saddening. Still, his work ultimately spurred creativity and hope for many of us. Wakanda even inspired one man to decide to construct a real-life Wakanda for a price tag of $6 billion.

We spotted the CUTEST new collection of these little plushes yesterday and fell in love immediately. The Coco Wishables just might be our favorite set of plushes in recent memory! So, you can imagine our dismay when we found they were mostly SOLD OUT on shopDisney! Well, do not fret! We found them in BOTH Disneyland AND Disney World!Â
