“Bless my soul!” A live-action HERC is on the roll!

The Hollywood Reporter has announced yet another live-action remake of a Disney animated film, surely with its sights set to “go the distance.”
The Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force is made up of several committees that discuss opening procedures for different business models within the county.

Today, we tuned into meetings of two of those sub-committees — the Reopening Business Work Group and the Bringing Back Tourism Work Group. Both of these committees are working hard on recommendations for the county government that will potentially help businesses, large and small, return to work. Here’s what they discussed today and how it could affect theme parks and restaurants.
In the wake of Governor Ron DeSantis’ big announcement yesterday regarding the gradual reopening of parts of Florida starting May 4th, Universal Orlando Resort officials have just released new guidelines for its employees.

Although no reopening date has been cited, Universal Studios says it will require employees to have their temperatures checked before starting work.

This news comes several weeks after character dining resumed at Shanghai Disneyland, one of the first Disney theme parks to close.
Last summer, it was announced that Universal Orlando Resort would be opening a brand new theme park: Universal’s Epic Universe.

Epic Universe will ultimately join Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and the Volcano Bay water park when it makes its debut at the Resort. However, it has been announced that the construction of the new theme park has met with delays in light of the current global health situation which has led to the temporary closure of Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Hollywood as well as Walt Disney World and other Disney destinations.
