New DFB Podcast Launched!

The brand new DFB Podcast has finally been launched!

My co-host on the show, Brad Johnson from WDW for Grown-ups, and I are excited to hear what you think! Sneak Peek! Disney’s Be Our Guest Restaurant Ballroom!

In a great video by Disney Parks Blog, we get to see a little bit of the Imagineering that’s going into the most anticipated restaurant in the Disney World Fantasyland expansion — Be Our Guest Restaurant!

According to Disney Parks Blog, “Imagineers recently put the finishing touches on one of its major elements: a massive mural that will serve as the restaurant’s backdrop. Here, Ted shows how WDI combined digital technology with traditional artistry to create a sweeping landscape that gives guests the feeling that they really are walking into a part of the film.”

Have you ever been headed to the Magic Kingdom and found yourself saying, “I wish there was a protein-filled, portable, delicious breakfast item that I could get at the Magic Kingdom…except I don’t want to wait in a line for it”…? Hmm? I know…who hasn’t?!

Disney World Free Dining August and September 2012

Finally! The great Disney Free Dining for Fall 2012 has now been opened up to the general public (previously it had only been available to Disney Visa Reward Cardholders).

Dates for this deal are in August and September 2012!

DATES AVAILABLE: August 25-September 29, 2012
MUST BE BOOKED BY: May 18th, 2012.

As always, free dining is offered based on where you’re staying. Guests at Disney VALUE resorts will receive the Disney Magic Your Way Quick-Service Dining Plan, but can upgrade to the standard or deluxe dining plans by paying the difference in cost per night.

Guests staying at Disney MODERATE, DELUXE, or VILLA resorts will receive the Disney Magic Your Way Plus Dining Plan (the standard dining plan), but can upgrade to the deluxe dining plan by paying the difference in cost per night.

Most, but not all, Disney resort rooms are included, and availability is extremely limited on this offer.

Coffee Margarita Now Available at Cava del Tequila in Epcot

Fun news for coffee and margarita lovers!

We recently heard that Epcot’s La Cava del Tequila is now offering a mezcal coffee margarita (a full-size version of this one that we got the chance to taste two years ago)! Don’t worry…yours will be MUCH bigger. Ours was just a small shot-sized sample. 😉

The Disney Parks Blog clued us in on some of the fun food you’ll be able to find in Cars Land this summer! Fingers crossed I can get out to Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort to try all of these goodies, but rest assured Heather will be there to sample a few for us!
