Bob Iger is back as CEO, park passes got an update, Genie+ changes are on the way, and a few executive shakeups have hit the House of Mouse. And now, with Disney+ being a “number one priority” for Iger, we have an update on just how that division of the Company is doing.
We’re not even going to lie. We feel a little bit left out!

Hong Kong Disneyland is getting World of Frozen, and now Disneyland Paris is getting a Frozen-themed area of their own. We found out that this themed area would soon arrive to the Paris-based park in April of 2023, and we’ve been green with envy since! However, a recent video has made that envy even worse. We want a Frozen-land at Disney World!

Sure, it’s great to be in Magic Kingdom on Halloween, especially if you have tickets to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The holiday season is also extra magical. But even long weekends like Labor Day weekend could be fun, too, although it could also be busy. However, if you ARE going to Disney World over Labor Day weekend, here’s what you should NOT do.

Give Kids The World Village, a nonprofit “storybook resort” in Central Florida, treats kids with critical illnesses and their families to weeklong, cost-free vacations. For the past few years, they have also hosted the Night of a Million Lights holiday light spectacular, the proceeds of which help to continue providing vacations for those families. We’re grabbing our favorite frappuccinos, lattes, and cold brew first thing at Disney World (don’t judge us), but for those of you who also like to get Starbucks at home, you’ll want to head to your local Target because getting coffee there just got a lot easier and more convenient.

What’s even better is when we can grab Disney-inspired items FROM McDonald’s! It’s the best of both worlds, just like Hannah Montana says. From time to time, McDonald’s features Disney-themed toys in Happy Meal Boxes, but now, a meal at McDonald’s is featuring a fan-favorite Disney series in a NEW way.
We don’t know about you, but when we plan a trip to Disney World, we usually end up with a whole list of things we need to buy before our vacation. You might not realize it, but all those little costs like sunscreen, new bathing suits, ponchos, and portable chargers can add up pretty quickly!

Things in the world of sports betting are about to change when it comes to ESPN.

Sports betting is something former Disney CEO Bob Chapek was pursuing rather aggressively during his tenure. Returning and current CEO Bob Iger, however, hasn’t always been on the same page. In 2018, he said that there was room for some sports betting but when talking about Disney getting into the business of gambling he said “I rather doubt it.” He later softened his tune, noting that it was “inevitable that they’ll be a…basically, a seamlessness between sports programming and sports betting.” And now it seems that seamlessness will become more of a reality at ESPN.
