Disney CEO Bob Iger is set to retire at the end of 2026.

Iger was previously CEO of the company for 15 years before handing over the reins to Bob Chapek in 2020. Chapek lasted until 2022, when he was ousted from the role, and his job was given back to Iger. Now, Iger’s second term as CEO includes one major goal — to find a suitable successor.
Another week has passed and we’ve been busy keeping up with things like price increases at Disney World (it always happens this time of year, but we’re still SHOCKED at how many we end up with).

It’s called Evermore Orlando Resort, and y’all, this resort has EVERYTHING. You’ve got traditional hotel rooms. You’ve got whole houses. You’ve got eight acres with a crystal-clear lagoon, tons of activities, golf, and so much more. When we say that Evermore is impressive, we mean IT IS IMPRESSIVE. It’s almost a destination in and of itself. However, it’s just 15 minutes from Disney World, meaning it could be a great option for your next Disney World trip. It’s officially happening: Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe is set to open in May 2025.

We’ve been getting really excited as Universal has released more details about all five lands the new theme park will bring to Universal visitors: Celestial Park, Dark Universe, Super Nintendo World, Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, and How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk. Tickets have already gone on sale for multi-day visits and packages to Universal Orlando, including Epic Universe, but SOON, select Universal visitors will be able to book single day tickets specifically for Epic Universe.

There has been so much Epic Universe news, and it is getting us so excited to be able to visit this new park!

It was just announced last week that Epic Universe would officially open on May 22nd, 2025. Plus, tickets, vacation packages, and bookings are open for the Grand Helios Hotel today, and demand is high as the website had to pause bookings for vacation packages earlier in the day due to the demand. If you want to experience this new park, the only way to do so is by purchasing multi-day tickets or a vacation package. But that is not the case for Universal Annual Passholders, and Universal recently hinted at a perk that only passholders will be able to take advantage of.
