A Look at the Florida Palm Trees
We’ve especially seen quite a lot of discussion on the topic of vaccine passports. The Florida governor has made statements about vaccine passports and passed an executive order on the topic as well. But now another part of the Florida government has taken action regarding vaccine passports.
UPDATE: As of May 6th, eligible out-of-state guests are able to purchase tickets online. Previously, guests had to buy tickets at the gate only, but online is now an option.

And after an addendum was added to California’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy, specifying that “fully vaccinated persons from out of state may visit or attend activities or events that are restricted to in-state visitors,” there have been LOTS of questions about who can visit these reopened theme parks. Disneyland has already specified that out-of-state guests will not be permitted inside the parks, despite this addendum. But Universal Studios Hollywood is a different story.

If you’ve been traveling in the last few years, you may be familiar with the Real ID. These new ID cards were originally supposed to roll out across the entire United States by October 1st, 2020, but that deadline was pushed back due to the pandemic. Now, we have another update.

Just yesterday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention relaxed certain parts of its mask guidance when it comes to outdoor activities for those who are fully vaccinated.
In Orange County, Florida, the county where part of Walt Disney World is located, there is a mask mandate in place. The Orange County Mayor has recently indicated that changes regarding the mask mandate and social distancing rules may be coming this summer, and now we’ve got some important updates.
As COVID-19 vaccines continue to be distributed, states are looking towards reopening.

Florida relies heavily on the tourism industry, and the pandemic greatly affected travel to the state. However, as more people become vaccinated and travel increases again, the tourism industry is slowly returning to normal.
