Mint Juleps are iconic offerings over at Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square in Disneyland, and the Green Tea Mint Julep has also been available at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival in years past, and now, you can learn how to make your own at home!
There is one snack spot in Disney World that seems to be having an identity crisis.
Energy Bytes
When Energy Bytes originally opened in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom (you’ll find it over near TRON Lightcycle / Run), the menu featured dumplings, donut holes, and a fun futuristic dessert. The snack spot later added a few new drinks and more unique snacks. However, the menu at Energy Bytes recently got a complete overhaul, so we’re trying NEW food there AGAIN.

Home to most of the Disneyland Resort’s festivals, California Adventure is the place to go if you’re in the market for interesting eats and limited-time snacks. Right now, the parks are celebrating Pixar Fest from April 26th through August 4th, 2024, with tons of Pixar fun like a new parade, themed merch, and special food offerings. Speaking of special food offerings, we recently stopped by California Adventure to try a NEW Pixar Fest dessert based on Pixar’s Inside Out!

Disney World may be famous for its theme park attractions, hotels, and unforgettable entertainment, but here at the Disney Food Blog, we make it no secret that we’re OBSESSED with Disney food — especially the desserts. While the Disney Parks have plenty of great desserts, we can’t forget about some of our absolute favorites at Disney Springs!
Okay, Disney World people, are you jealous of the Pixar Fest happening right now in Disneyland? Why can’t we get something like that in Disney World? WHY?!?!?!
Pixar Plaza
We’ll admit that we’ve had some SERIOUS FOMO that we seem to be missing out on all the Pixar fun, entertainment, and food. Disney World may not be getting something like Pixar Fest (which is a SHAME), but we do have some good news: Disney World will be getting some new Pixar-themed food and souvenirs. That’s something, right?
Okay, we have to ask, Disney, what is this sudden obsession with croissants?
Amorette’s Patisserie
Yes, croissants are generally basic, but lately, Disney World has been offering up all kinds of over-the-top croissants, following a seriously viral croissant trend that’s taken the internet by storm. We’ve had a croissant stuffed with espresso (why get a croissant and a coffee when you can have both in one snack?) and a PB and J Croissant (no, really). We’ve also had a Croissant Cookie, which seems to be THE new croissant trend because we just had a DIFFERENT version of that very same snack.
Happy Pride Month, everyone! This is the time of year when we get to literally “taste the rainbow” of Disney World snacks, and we’ve eaten our share of Pride treats recently, including a Pride Mousse Dome with Mickey Ears. There are a ton of other Pride snacks to grab, though, so we’re making our way around Disney World to eat our fill of rainbow treats.

We recently headed to Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs to try a new snack there, and let’s just say — it didn’t go as well as we might have expected.

Matterhorn Bobsleds
Matterhorn Bobsleds is known as the first tubular steel track roller coaster and has been an absolute icon at Disneyland Park since it opened in 1959. Now celebrating its 65th anniversary, this major Disney landmark has stood the test of time through all kinds of expansion and Resort changes. In honor of the attraction’s longevity and importance in Disneyland’s history, Disney is offering a new Matterhorn-themed dessert!

EPCOT’s France Pavilion
Disney is well known for their food; it’s practically become another attraction! They update menus and add new items and restaurants all the time. We’re ready to try it all when we find out something is new. That’s why we recently headed over to EPCOT to the France pavilion because we found out that new desserts were added to the menu at Crêpes A Emporter!
