What Alcoholic Drinks are Included on the Disney Dining Plan?

Specialty drinks include such tasty gems as Artisanal Milkshakes and Fresh Smoothies!

Several Disneyland Restaurants Closing Soon to Make Way for New Resort Hotel
In 2021, a new Four Diamond hotel will open to guests visiting Disneyland Resort.
This new hotel will connect all of what will be four Disneyland hotels with walkways lined by lush gardens, completely transforming the west end of the Downtown Disney District. Construction is set to begin this summer.
This construction, of course, requires space. And that space will come with the closure of several restaurants and businesses in Downtown Disney. According to the ocregister.com, the following spots will close by June 30th (with some spots possibly closing earlier) to make way for construction:
DFB Video: The BEST THINGS I’ve Eaten in Disney World So Far in 2018!
It’s a new week! And we’re back with another DFB Video today so I can tell you all about the BEST THINGS I’ve eaten in Disney World so far this year!
We’re a quarter of the way into 2018, and I’m happy that the no-longer-new year so far has included a few trips to Disney World for me. But I don’t just go for me… I’m going for YOU, too, so I can share with you everything you should put on your Must-Eat list for your next visit! And I think all the dishes and snacks mentioned in our latest DFB Video should DEFINITELY go on your list this year! [Read more…]
Is Disney World’s Artist Point Worth The Money?
So, Artist Point… we meet again.
Okay, I know… “Melodramatic much?” Maybe. But here’s the thing: this Signature Restaurant in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and I have met several times now. And years ago, I would commonly say that I never knew what to expect. Some visits were terrific, while others… well, just weren’t.
But over my past few visits, I have come to a more regular expectation: that I simply won’t be wowed by the experience.
And — believe it or not — that’s exactly why I keep going back. Because if you’ve been with me here on DFB for any length of time, you know that the only consistent thing about Disney restaurants is that they can be really inconsistent. So I always want to give places a chance to up their game.
Well, that and I just straight up love Wilderness Lodge. 🙂
So, how did this last visit treat me? Let’s step inside the Lodge…
… and find out!
Atmosphere
When you set foot inside Artist Point (and, really, anywhere in Wilderness Lodge), you’re no longer meant to feel as though you’re in the Sunshine State.
What Specialty Drinks are Included on the Disney Dining Plan?
Editor’s Note: We’ll be updating this post regularly as we learn more about how specialty, non-alcoholic drinks are being classified at Walt Disney World. If you’ve had experience with the plan, please comment below so we can add it to the post! Thanks, Disney food friends!
When the 2018 Disney Dining Plan details were released last June, many guests were excited to discover that alcoholic drinks would be included. For those who like to try adult beverages at Walt Disney World, this was an immediate way to bump up the value of the Disney Dining Plan!
But what about those guests who choose not to drink alcohol or who are under 21 years old (but still required to pay the adult price)? How can they maximize the 2018 Disney Dining Plan by imbibing in “specialty beverages” promised by the new DDP?
