We’re always looking for the latest around Animal Kingdom — new food, construction updates, merchandise arrivals, etc. And this week, we noticed some new merchandise that celebrates Pandora — The World of Avatar and the Main Street Electrical Parade (perhaps a bit random in Animal Kingdom, but we love to see some Main Street Electrical Parade representation). REVIEW: Head to the Amare Restaurant at the Swan Reserve Hotel in Disney World With Us!

When people think of dining in Disney World, they likely think of restaurants in the Disney World parks like Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom or the Connections Eatery in EPCOT, but the hotels have a lot of dining options, too.

One of the newest hotels to join the ranks is the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve. It is located in the same area as the Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and when it opened, it brought with it some new dining options, including Amare, the signature restaurant of the hotel. Today, we’re giving it a try!

HURRY! Disney’s NEW MagicBand May Not Be Around for Long

Disney World has been getting ready to debut a NEW way to use MagicBands — MagicBand+! This new system introduces effects that weren’t possible with the previous generation of MagicBands, like allowing guests to interact with the 50th Anniversary statues around the parks and turning Galaxy’s Edge into an interactive bounty hunting game. Although a few MagicBand+ bands were accidentally released early, Disney still hasn’t announced when the system will officially roll out in the parks.

Even though there’s a new generation of MagicBands on the way, we’re still finding plenty of the OG bands throughout the parks! Remember that you can continue to use the old MagicBands (or your phone) as your park ticket and hotel room key, even when MagicBand+ arrives. Over the past four decades, the Disney World Annual Pass has gone through a significant evolution, which has drawn criticism from many Disney guests. Others have praised the Annual Pass throughout its existence, renewing theirs year after year. More recently, Disney World reintroduced Annual Pass sales after pausing them due to the pandemic-related closures, but then once again halted those sales for every pass tier but one. So, just how has the Walt Disney World Annual Pass transformed through the years, and how is Disney World different because of it?
