The mischievous Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland has inspired some of our favorite Disney treats, like the Cat Tail from Cheshire Cafe in Magic Kingdom.
But if flaky pastries aren’t your thing, there’s another Cheshire Cat-inspired treat you can grab in Disney World right now! As a bonus — you don’t even need a park ticket to order it. But can it beat the Cat Tail?? Let’s find out!
Let’s see what’s happening in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
As we near the 5-year anniversary of Pandora – The World of Avatar on May 27th, we’re seeing new Pandora merchandise hit the parks! And while we expected to see mostly Pandora merchandise hit the park, instead we mostly saw…Simba?! That’s right, Disney seems to be stuck in 1994 (when Lion King was released, of course), as the park was full of Simba merch. Like, seriously…Simba is everywhere. Of course, we saw other updates in the park too, like new food offerings and items unrelated to Lion King, so let’s see what’s new in Animal Kingdom!
Here at DFB, we try A LOT of new food (it is in our name, after all!).

Listen, there are a LOT of ways to spend your money at Disney World. Seriously…temptations around every corner!
Whether it’s special experiences, unique souvenirs, or snacks that would look spectacular on your Instagram, it’s hard to resist some of the things we spot in the parks and resorts. Disney has released a TON of new merchandise in the past few months…it’s almost overwhelming!
We’re finding new things to buy online every week — from the 50th Anniversary collections to the new Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction monthly series. And now, there’s a HUGE new collection to check out both in the parks and on shopDisney.
Disney World now offers Disney Genie+, A.K.A. a paid system that lets you skip the standby line and head straight into a Lightning Lane.
The system has been controversial since it was announced. Not only is it a paid replacement for something that was once free, but the system is can be confusing and difficult for some Disney guests to navigate. Consider growing wait times and crowd levels, and it can feel a bit like Genie+ is a mandatory up charge now. So, we looked into it to find out if Genie+ is truly NECESSARY now.

How long would you wait in line for your favorite ride in Disney World?
30 minutes? An hour? 3 hours? We’re sure the answer varies for most people, but it also depends on what ride is your favorite. If you LOVE Barnstormer, you most likely won’t have to endure that outdoor queue for very long. But, if you’re a Rise of the Resistance fan…you’re probably going to be waiting for a while!
