It’s that time of year when some of our favorite Disney World treats get a red and pink makeover.
Let’s dig in before it melts!
We’ve tried a pink Sweetheart Cupcake, a Sweetheart Sundae made with red velvet Mickey and Minnie waffles, and even a selection of marshmallow and chocolate goodies. We just found a cupcake that’s NOT red or pink, but it’s got a whole lot of chocolatey goodness.
It’s Friday folks, which means things are winding down from a busy week, and we’re looking forward to a relaxing weekend. But some rides in Disney World actually decided to clock out a little bit early!

It’s here! It’s here! There’s a BRAND NEW character cavalcade in Disney World and we have a first look for you!

The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade was announced at Destination D23 last year as the biggest character cavalcade yet, with almost 30 characters! There are some Disney World souvenirs that you can count on to be in the parks, but are they worth buying?
Allll the spray fans
We’re not talking about T-shirts or MagicBands, here. We mean the items you can find around the parks that you might not use ever again, like bubble wands, seasonal light-up necklaces, spray fans, and balloons. But, on the other hand, these things can still be a fun addition to your park day that adds a little magic for your kids! And, if you are a balloon person, there’s a new one you gotta check out!

Capture Your Moment is a special service that lets guests schedule private photoshoot sessions in the parks, whether you want to celebrate a special occasion or remember your trip forever. This service is already available at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and now two more Disney Parks are joining in on the fun!
For the 50th Anniversary, Disney World has amped up pretty much EVERYTHING.
The 50th Anniversary has been a big deal!
What do we mean? Well, we’ve got EARidescent glitter-covered snacks, shiny 50th Anniversary banners decking out all the parks, countless new merchandise collections, and it seems like that logo is slapped on everything we see! And this week, we found another 50th Anniversary-themed souvenir that you’ve probably never noticed.
Disney World has added a lot of things to the parks for its 50th anniversary, but one of our favorite new additions are the 50 gold character statues!
Best buds
These are across all 4 parks and include characters like Mickey and Minnie, Edna Mode, Winnie the Pooh, and more. Disney has also released some fun merch that look like these statues! We’ve seen ornaments, mini mystery packs, and even small replicas of a few characters. And now, there’s a NEW character statue replica that’s available online!
Ride closures happen in Disney World occasionally, whether for scheduled maintenance, bad weather, or unknown issues.
Tower of Terror temporarily closed
Expedition Everest is currently undergoing a lengthy refurbishment in Animal Kingdom and won’t be reopening until April. Splash Mountain has also been closed as scheduled maintenance is performed. It shut down in early January and is supposed to be reopening today, but the status of the ride is up in the air.
