Did you know there’s a new hotel coming to the Disney Springs area?
In 2019, Drury Hotels Company announced the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista coming to the Disney Springs area! Now, the hotel is nearing completion and reservations are being accepted for later this year!
This weekend is the runDisney 2022 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. Which means…a special treat has arrived!
If you like your treats beautiful and you’re visiting for the marathon, you might want to plan to stop by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Why? There’s a limited Dole Whip treat that’s both delicious, perfectly Instagram-worthy, and excellent for a post-run recovery.
Hello from EPCOT!
We’ve been visiting EPCOT regularly to check out what’s new, and we have to say we’re SO excited to see the first of the EPCOT Festival of the Arts booths turning up — we are READY! But we’ve also been visiting every pavilion and every shop to keep you up to date on new merchandise as it arrives. So let’s get on with the updates!
We’ve seen some amazing Minnie Ears get released in 2021, and it’s hard to pick a favorite!
We’ve also seen some…well…more unusual ear choices, like the pair that looked kinda like Grandma’s couch. But these ears? These ears might go down as one of the most ICONIC pairs of Minnie Ears of all time. And guess what — they’re back in stock!
Have you ever ridden Avatar Flight of Passage in Disney’s Animal Kingdom? If so, you’ll probably know what we’re talking about.
If you’ve visited Pandora in Animal Kingdom or seen the movie Avatar, you might already know what a Banshee is. Basically, it’s a dragon-like creature that Avatar characters ride, and you get a chance to ride one yourself on the ride Flight of Passage. You can also “adopt” (aka purchase) your very own Banshee toy — and we have a bit of an update!
We’ve been busy keeping up with all the updates and new info coming out about the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Arts!
We previously reported on all of the new food booths that will be coming to the beloved fest this year — but now we’ve got some news about a fan favorite Disney artist joining the festival as well!
How’s it going, friends? We’re just doing our thing at Disney World, which means checking out all the new food, and seeing what’s popping up at the stores.
And we were just at Magic Kingdom to see what’s new there, so let’s get on with some updates!
Over the past few months, we’ve seen virtual queues used at everything from hit attractions in Disney World to a popular cookie shop at Disney Springs.
But more recently we’ve started to see the use of virtual queues being discontinued at select spots. Not too long ago, Disney paused the use of virtual queues for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disney World and Disneyland, and it paused the use of virtual queues on select days for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure in Disney California Adventure. Now, a virtual queue that has been in use in EPCOT is also going away!
You’re thinking about that next trip to Disney World, but should you go in April or September? It’s easier to travel with the kids in the summer, but can you handle the Florida heat?
When can you find the lowest crowds? And is the holiday season really that wild? I’m gonna tell you the BEST time to go to Disney World, right now.
