Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
Before visiting Disney World, you’ll definitely want to check out the refurbishment calendar online to see what might be closed during your trip.
Often, attractions will close for a short amount of time to get some maintenance and keep things spiffy, but sometimes those closures last longer than anticipated. The PeopleMover had a surprise closure of more than a year a while back, but one other Magic Kingdom ride has that one beat — the Walt Disney World Railroad.
Looking for a spot to grab some awesome merchandise, tasty food, and more, all without a Disney World park ticket? Then Disney Springs is the spot for you!
Recently, we made our way over to this shopping, dining, and entertainment spot to see what’s new. From a new drink flight to vegan treats, we had a delicious time. Join us now for a virtual trip around Disney Springs!
We’re always looking out for the newest snacks in Disney World, so it’s not unusual for us to have a cupcake or chicken tenders for breakfast.
But recently, a brand-new menu item popped up that was actually meant to be eaten for breakfast! It might not look like breakfast (just wait ’til you see this adorable creation), but it was definitely the perfect start to our day. You can’t find this new dish in the Disney World parks, but lucky for us it wasn’t too far away.
When you think of Disney World, you probably think of cherished family memories and happily ever afters. But, Disney can also have a…creepier side.
Between attractions, movies, merchandise, and more, here are all of the times that Disney has given us nightmares rather than sweet dreams of fairy tales.
As we get closer to Halloween, the fall season is winding down and we’re preparing for the holidays…especially in Disney World!
This year, most of the celebrations kick off on November 12th, with the Disney Very Merriest After Hours starting a few days earlier on November 8th. There’s going to be so much to check out throughout the two months of the holiday season and we can’t wait to share it all — including a popular character meal that’s returning!
NOTE: Some Candlelight Processional Dining Packages may now be available as of 10/27/21.
The Candlelight Processional is back!
The holiday ticketed event, which features a live orchestra and choir as well as a selection of celebrity hosts, is coming back this year after a temporary hiatus last year. Also returning are the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages. And today, we’ve got an update about the dining packages for the event.
Did you know there’s a seasonal Food Truck Round-Up at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campgrounds?
We stopped by today and found an amazingly cheesy pizza cone at a new food truck there. But we also stopped by one truck that we’ve visited in the past. Only this time there was a pretty creeeeeepy option on the menu.
We’ve tasted a lot of 50th Anniversary treats in Disney World recently.
There have been some winners and also some that were…interesting. But today we stopped by one of the BEST treat spots in all of EPCOT (in our opinion, anyway) to try another 50th Anniversary treat, and (spoiler alert) this is one you won’t want to miss out on.
MagicBands may not be free for Disney World Resort hotel guests or Annual Passholders anymore, but there are still LOTS of MagicBands that can be purchased!
We’ve seen MagicBands featuring retro Disney designs, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and more. Now, select guests have the chance to get 2 fun MagicBand designs at a discount!
