There are several exciting new things coming to Disney World very soon!
The Main Street Confectionery is bringing new treats!
We’ve got new rides, new fireworks shows, and new restaurants all planned for the next few days. Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom is also set to reopen after a lengthy refurbishment, and today we got a first look at some of the new treats that will be offered inside the revamped store.
Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration kicks off this week!
Earidescence is everywhere!
While the official start of the festivities isn’t until October 1st, we’ve already seen special things around the parks, like banners, signs, and merchandise. Two of the 50th anniversary collections have been released in Disney World, and it looks like we’re about to get another one soon!

Main Street Confectionery
One of the most iconic places to find Disney treats, new and old, is the Main Street Confectionery. This spot has been closed for a while for some refurbishment, but it’s finally set to open soon, on September 29th. EPCOT has been undergoing a HUGE transformation these past few years!
A Peek at the Construction in EPCOT
While some projects have been completed, like EPCOT’s entrance area, others are still a work in progress, like attractions that were supposed to be opening soon. But, EPCOT is still getting ready for the big 50th anniversary celebration. And, we just learned about another part of the park’s transformation that will be ready for the anniversary!
With Disney World’s 50th Anniversary only days away, Disney just added MORE excitement to the mix!
The 50th is almost here!
We’ve already seen a TON of new 50th anniversary merchandise in Disney World and we’ve seen some new 50th anniversary treats too, but now Disney has announced that a WHOLE BUNCH of NEW food and drink items will debut as part of the big celebration!
One of the best parts of EPCOT in Disney World is World Showcase, where you can enjoy “visiting” countries from around the world.
Canada Pavilion
In the Canada pavilion you can generally find shopping, maple popcorn, the Canada film, and the Le Cellier restaurant. During the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Canada is also home to the Canada Booth and the Appleseed Orchard Booth. One Canada feature has been missing over the past few months, and now it looks like we finally have a return date!

Stitch Crashes Snow White Collection in Animal Kingdom
Each month, a new collection of Stitch merchandise has been released, each with a Disney movie theme. We’ve seen some really pretty items, a couple of slightly strange ones, and honestly some downright scary ones. The newest set of Stitch items is now available in Disney World, and we’re thinking it probably falls into the “slightly strange” but also kinda cute category!
