Disney World released more than 100 new 50th Anniversary items this morning at the Emporium gift shop in Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
New 50th Anniversary Merchandise
But it appears they’re not finished yet! We just spotted another popular merchandise item with a new 50th Anniversary theme in Disney World. Here’s a hint: We DIDN’T find it in the Magic Kingdom.
We’re headed to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to see what’s new around the park this week.

Last week we spotted new 50th Anniversary golden statues, some fun lunch items at a reopened cafe, and lots of new merchandise. This week there’s just a couple of updates, so let’s check them out!
Even though we’ve still got Halloween and the 50th Anniversary ahead of us, we’re already thinking about the holiday season at Disney World!
Christmas Tree in EPCOT
This year, the two months of excitement will be highlighted by the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, plus decorations all around the resorts, special snacks, and offerings at Disney Springs. And today we found out that one of our favorite entertainment options will be returning!
Fall is in the air at Disney World, with decorations and treats to match the season.
Such a Nice View
We’ve already celebrated the return of pumpkin coffee, found new fall treats at Amorette’s Patisserie, and tried FOUR fall treats at Vivoli il Gelato. But our love for fall flavors isn’t about to end there. We just found a NEW fall treat at a Disney World hotel!

Don’t Forget to Look for Them!
October 1st is just a few weeks away and Disney is preparing by adding golden statues to the parks, testing new fireworks shows, and reopening more restaurants! Disney-goers have already been able to buy some of the 50th anniversary merchandise, but today we spotted a NEW 50th anniversary merchandise collection in the parks!
Space 220 has officially opened in EPCOT!

We’ve taken a look at the lines for this new restaurant right now, and we’ve already gone inside to check out the experience and food. While we were there, we found a couple of cool souvenirs that you can take home with you when you return to Earth! [Read more…]
Disney World sometimes has exclusive merchandise, which only certain guests can buy.
MagicBands
You’ll have to be an Annual Passholder to buy some things, a Disney Vacation Club Member for others, or maybe even a member of D23 (Disney’s official fan club) to get certain items. The new MagicBand we found in Disney World is one of these exclusive items — find out if you’ll be able to buy it!

Space 220 FINALLY opened today in EPCOT!
Space 220!!
We’ve been waiting what feels like forever for this Future World food spot to open. The anticipation has been building as well, with us getting a sneak peek inside, finding out what’s on the menus, and seeing the signs finally go up! And, we haven’t been the only ones waiting to eat here, according to the opening day lines we saw this morning!
