Hello from Disney World. We’ve had a lot of exciting news this week, huh?

There were new details about the Star Wars hotel, we’ve had news about more restaurant reopenings, and we finally got word that Annual Pass sales would resume soon. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg — there is SO much going on.
Disney character meet-and-greets have been pretty different since the parks reopened last year. There is nothing like being able to see and have a conversation with one of your favorite Disney characters.

In June, Disney World made face masks optional for vaccinated guests in indoor locations on property. However, the CDC recently changed their guidelines suggesting that everyone, regardless of their vaccination status, should wear masks at select indoor locations, which caused Disney World to require masks indoors again for all guests. We recently saw a price increase for face masks, but today we noticed something unusual at one of Disney World’s biggest shops.

Today, we’ve got another TRON construction update for you! Construction has been going on for a while in Magic Kingdom and we are eagerly awaiting the ride’s opening, which was originally teased to be part of Disney World’s big anniversary celebration.
Disney’s Magical Express service, which transports guests to and from the airport and their Disney hotel, officially discontinued service at the beginning of January 2022.

But, a new service from Mears, the company that previously operated the Magical Express, has taken its place. Now that we know the pricing for this new service and how it operates, we’re wondering if it’s still your best bet for getting to Disney World. But, just how does that pricing compare to ordering an Uber to take your family to and from the airport? We’re breaking it all down to find out.
